This was a really nice property to stay at. The neighborhood was quiet and the property was pristine and had really nice / comfortable beds. The only problem was the TVs and the ability for them to connect / stay connected to the internet in order to watch TV. The maintenance crew was very polite and worked very hard to correct the issue. We really enjoyed our stay at this Stay Texas property. It was especially convenient over the 4th of July since it was located right on the parade route, so we didn’t have to travel far to enjoy the festivities. The property is also within walking distance of Main Street, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The only thing I’d mention to future guests is the $50 non-refundable fee charged after booking. In my opinion, this fee wasn’t clearly disclosed upfront, and I was surprised that it was non-refundable, especially since there were no damages or issues during our stay. Greater transparency about this charge before booking would be appreciated as well as how it is used if it is non-refundable. This property is perfect for two couples; each bedroom has a king size bed. The property is beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. This property has a wonderful back porch and yard with a hot tub, table, lots of seating and a fire pit. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to utilize it. Donna, two king rooms is exactly why we set the house up the way we did, so couples travel together without anybody drawing the short straw. Glad the decor and the upkeep held up to a close look. That back porch is the part guests tell us about most, so next trip, build in one slow evening: fire pit going, hot tub warm, nothing on the schedule until morning. The yard gets good shade by late afternoon and the sunsets off that side of the property are worth sitting still for. Come back and give it the time it deserves.
