We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in New Braunfels! The property was beautiful, super clean, and incredibly private, which made it the perfect relaxing getaway. The hot tub was definitely one of our favorite parts, such a nice touch after a long day. Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and exactly as described. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the place, and we truly had zero complaints during our stay. Also another favorite, the deer walking around the property day and night. We had an amazing stay in New Braunfels for our spring break trip! The home was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and organized, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy our vacation. The location was perfect. It was close to everything we wanted to do in New Braunfels, but still quiet and relaxing when we wanted to unwind. Keith, that back porch view with the hot tub is one of our favorite things about that house, and we are glad it landed the way it did for you. Your private notes are exactly what we needed: the tree limbs over the living room are being assessed by an arborist this week, the hot tub checklist is getting a hard reset so the supplies listed in the binder are actually there, and the 4:00 turnover timing is tightening up. Israel, knowing you and the kids had a blast in the hot tub and on the playground makes this whole thing worthwhile. Since you mentioned the tree limbs scraping the roof at night, we have already had them trimmed back so the next guests sleep undisturbed. We also restocked the firewood supply at the house so it is ready and waiting when you come back this summer. Spent 3 nights at this beautiful home! The views were amazing, such a beautiful home with a very cozy feel. Our family of 4 fit perfectly, the bunk bed setup was the ideal setup for our 7 and 9 year old (they loved the room and having a tv of their own). The master bedroom was so cool with such easy access to the hot tub and patio. Morning showers while overlooking the valley was an unexpected bonus! The patio was huge and there was plenty of seating to spread out while cooking, lounging, or hanging around the fire! The kitchen had plenty of utensils to cook and prep all of our meals. We spent thanksgiving there and the kitchen was perfect for our family! Matt, a Thanksgiving spent cooking every meal in the house and still having room to breathe on that patio is exactly what that property is built for. Those valley views from the master shower catch just about every guest off guard, and it sounds like your kids claimed the bunk room fast. The kitchen faucet is already being replaced, and the hot tub siding is getting fixed before the next guests arrive. Amelia, those views are the reason we fell for that house too, so I'm glad they delivered. You also flagged three things that shouldn't have been on you to work around: a shower that drains slow and sends water across the bathroom floor with nothing to stop it, a fireplace pushing smoke back into the room, and a curtain rod that came down every time you touched it. The drain has been cleared and a splash guard is going in, a chimney sweep is booked before the next stay, and the rod is replaced. The place is beautiful and we would stay again for sure! Things of note to those looking at this property that caught me by surprise. They require a signed, extensive agreement. The ship playhouse is cute but falling apart, I did not let my children play on it as the wood is rotting and weak. However, there are signs making it clear you are playing at your own risk. Tara, waking up to a herd of deer in the front yard is one of those Hill Country moments you just can't plan for. Glad the house delivered on all fronts and that the land around it gave you that little bonus. If you come back in the fall, the deer are out in even greater numbers and the light through the oak trees in the morning is something else entirely. Hope to have you back soon!Stay Texas staff
