True to the listing - the roosters and chickens came ambling over for some attention while I sat on the porch taking in a book. I came for a Pastoral planning retreat. Had a wonderful conversation with the owner while I was there. Very hospitable. Peaceful. Ran into town (10 min) to visit the local HEB for groceries...wandered through the local library's used book section...enjoyed the two days I was there. Jessica, catching both the sunrises and the sunsets from that cabin means you were up early and out late, and that is exactly the way to do it out here. Quiet is the whole point of that spot, and we work hard to keep it that way. Next time you come, stay out on the porch an hour past dark. The stars over the Hill Country on a clear night are worth losing a little sleep over, and a cup of coffee back out there at first light finishes the job. Come see us again. This cabin was incredible and made us feel just like a local here in Fredericksburg. The hottub was such a nice touch and the cabin had everything we needed. Absolutely stunning! Everything was amazing, BNB was only 10 minutes from main street where all the restaurants and bars are located. Wineries are a little bit of a drive but there are so many and not very much traffic. Riley, getting snowed in at a Hill Country property is either a nightmare or an adventure, and we are glad it landed on the right side for you. Beza, glad the cabin came through as clean and roomy, and that the short run into town worked in your favor. You were right that the optional charges, the deposit alternative and the early arrival, weren't laid out plainly enough before booking, so they're now spelled out on the listing page instead of turning up later. We've also added a simple hot tub card by the back door covering jets, temperature and the cover. Come back and actually use it after dark. This AirBnB is in a beautiful location with everything you can think of provided. The cabin is well cared for and stocked so that tenets can enjoy an excellent trip. An excellent and recommendable experience. The only fault might be that Stay Texas Hospitality Group tends to overcommunicate, sending more messages than I wanted to ever receive, but that's a far better problem to have than a host that is unreachable. Sam, "stocked so that tenants can enjoy an excellent trip" is exactly what we aim for, so thank you for noticing the details. You're right about the messages, though. We send too many. We've cut our standard sequence down to three: your door code and directions, a mid stay check in, and checkout details, and if you'd rather have fewer than that, tell us at booking and we'll go quiet unless you reach out first. Next time you're out here, take the porch about twenty minutes before sunset. The light across the hills is the best thing on the property and it costs nothing. Come see us again. Steering guests toward the right restaurants and tasting rooms is honestly the best part of this job. Eric, hearing the cabin worked as a proper retreat is exactly what we want from that place. You were right about the hot tub. Debris floating in it and that not-fresh smell mean it was not turned over the way it should have been, so those tubs now get a drain, scrub and documented check ahead of every arrival, not just a chemical reading. On the firewood, we are putting a covered rack at each pit so bundles stay with the site they were bought for. Come back in spring if you can, the wildflower drives through this stretch of the Hill Country are worth the trip on their own. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Cozi Hill Country Luxury. The place was very clean and well-maintained, with clear instructions that made check-in and getting settled super easy. There was plenty of space for all six of us to spread out and relax comfortably. The highlight was definitely the jacuzzi—it was a great way to unwind in the evenings. The only suggestion we have is to add some lighting around the jacuzzi area to make it easier to enjoy at night.
