Perfect place what you see in the posting is what you get

Kourtney, "what you see in the posting is what you get" is exactly what we aim for, so hearing it back from you means the photos are doing their job honestly. We keep the listing current on purpose, right down to the furniture and the views, because nobody should walk in and find surprises. Next time you are out this way, give yourself an evening at the resort pool after the crowd thins out, then take a walk down to the water as the sun drops behind the hills. It is the quietest hour on the property and most guests never catch it. Come see us again. We keep 10% off for guests who come back to us, so that is there for you next time. Location location location. Want to get away? This place met that criteria in full. Sooooo warm and comfortable. Fireplace was EVERYTHING!! This is a non-scrutinizing comment/observation, the reservation program does not communicate with the “check-in early app/option”. In the summer rain night windy time, in 10° weather it has a different feel. Like pain! 30 min standing outside. BUT the company made amends with their understanding of the Government’s instruction to shelter in place and stay off of the roads. For that an over all 5 stars without hesitation.

Daniel, that fireplace carrying the whole stay during a freezing rainy night is exactly what it is there for, and we are glad it delivered. Thirty minutes standing outside in 10 degree weather while the early check-in system failed to sync with your reservation is a real problem, and we have corrected how those two systems communicate so the next guest arriving in those conditions walks straight in. The rest of your notes, the Wi-Fi range, the remote batteries, the kitchen inventory, are all addressed at the house now. Come back when the Hill Country is in full spring bloom and that same fireplace hits completely different.

Dan, "always pleased" after multiple stays is exactly what we aim for out here in the Hill Country. The fact that you keep coming back says more than any single review could. Next time you are out, ask us about the best sunset spots on the property grounds, because the views this time of year are something worth sitting still for!

Amy, peaceful is exactly what we want folks to take away from the house, so hearing you say it lands well. That quiet is the whole reason we keep the porch furniture set up facing the open ground instead of the drive. Next time you come out, take your coffee out there right around sunrise. The deer usually work their way through the tree line before the day heats up, and it is the best twenty minutes on the property. The Blakey was better than expected. A great place to get away for the weekend and 15 minutes from Main Street. Next time we visit Fredericksburg I would love to stay here again.

Tomas, glad the house delivered more than you were expecting, and that 15-minute run into Fredericksburg worked out for your weekend. The Hill Country has a way of doing that, giving you town when you want it and quiet when you need it. Come back in the spring when the wildflowers are out along the drive and the whole landscape looks completely different. We will keep a spot ready for you!

Beautiful place to stay. Directions to find the location and check in was easy. Coopers BBQ tasted so good sitting at the picnic table enjoying the lovely view. The stay was great with a comfortable bed and good shower. We got to see the game room and it looks super fun if you have time to use it. We were busy with wedding activities. We appreciate the prompt communication from the host with any needs. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Loved the stay! Space was so peaceful and the saloon was a nice space to use with the shuffleboard too. Highly recommend if looking for some quiet nights. Central located to wineries and Fredericksburg. Make sure to eat at Eaker BBQ!
