The well-equipped kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, and Keurig, along with a countertop and bar stools for casual dining.

The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and a generous vanity countertop with plenty of room to spread out and get ready in comfort.

The screened-in porch with a table and chairs offers a peaceful spot to sip coffee, enjoy a meal, or simply take in the fresh country air.

Guests can also enjoy the shared outdoor gazebo area, complete with a table and chairs, a fire table for evening relaxation, and a cornhole game for a little friendly competition.

I decided to book a last-minute, personal mini-retreat for the Christmas holiday. The booking process was super simple and the directions and access instructions were easy to follow. When I arrived, I was happy to find that the cabin was just as spacious and private as the photos made it seem. The cabin was clean and tidy and I was easily able to connect to a strong wi-fi--especially important for me because I still had to get some work done during the day. While I spent most of my time enjoying the peace and quiet, I did make it in to town (which was an easy 10-minute drive) a couple of times for dinner and to wander around Main Street. Thankfully, I didn't encounter any issues with my stay, but I did run into the host on the way out one afternoon and he was warm and friendly. Overall, it was exactly the three-day, holiday-stress-free getaway that I needed.
