This cozy two-bedroom lodge is thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection. The first bedroom is located on the main level and features a plush queen bed, while the upstairs loft offers another queen bed and two twin beds, making it perfect for kids or additional guests. A full kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals with ease, whether you're making a hearty breakfast before heading into town or cooking up dinner after a day of exploring.
Just a scenic 20-minute drive from downtown, you’ll enjoy the serenity of the countryside without being too far from shops, restaurants, and attractions. Start your mornings with coffee on the front porch, unwind in the evening with a glass of wine in the cozy chairs, or head out to the back deck and take in a breathtaking view of the starlit sky.
As you relax on the property, don’t be surprised to see deer, wild turkeys, and a variety of birds pass by—wildlife lovers will feel right at home. Whether you're seeking quiet moments or quality time with loved ones, Cactus Flower Lodge is your perfect Hill Country escape.

*The Cactus Flower Treehouse is situated on the same property and may be occupied by other guests during your stay.

Great news for pet lovers! This property is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along for the adventure. We want everyone to enjoy their stay, including your four-legged family members. To ensure a paw-sitive experience please be aware of the following:

Pet fees & rules:
We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.
-Pet fee(s) of $95 plus tax will apply in addition to the nightly rate.
-This unit will allow 2 dogs with a max weight limit of 50 lb combined.
-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them.
-A separate pet waiver must be signed.
-Any and all damages or issues caused by your pet to a unit or furnishing will be immediately charged to your credit card on file.

-Wood for the fire pit is not provided.

The home was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. 2 showers made it easy to check out on time. Beds were comfortable. The deck out back had a beautiful country view with ceiling fan to keep cool. Had a great time relaxing on back deck/patio for our girls getaway. Definitely recommend.

Barbara, a girls getaway spent out on that back deck with the fan running and the country view in front of you is exactly what that house was built for. Glad the two showers kept everybody moving on checkout morning, and that the kitchen had what you needed. One thing we're fixing: a simple, printed TV guide is going into the house so nobody has to guess at the remotes again. Next time you come, ask about the sunset from the deck later in the evening, it's worth staying out for. Come back and bring the same crew. My three daughters and I were celebrating the 50th birthday of one of them, and we had a blast! We did some cooking and some eating out. We put together a puzzle on the table and we had coffee on the deck each morning. We laughed till we cried! We visited Das peach Haus and Wild Seed Farm, as well as F'burg. But a major delight was seeing all the sheep, goats, deer and cows up and down Grape Creek Rd. I recommend this place.

Beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful, the Cactus Flower Lodge was everything we wanted in our girls' trip. The best part that cannot be emphasized enough is the free-roaming wildlife. No joke, we saw cattle, horses, sheep (TONS!), goats, deer, pigs, zebras and even an antelope on our drives to town and back. If you want to be secluded and awed, this is the place. The back patio and multiple seating areas in the yard provide respite that you won't even know you needed. Shopping and restaurants are close by, but you could essentially hole up on the property and not emerge until check-out. We drank coffee, read our books, completed a puzzle, yapped for hours, and never turned on the television. The accommodations are plentiful and the decor inspirational. Bring lots of comfy clothes and plan to unplug. You will leave with a desire to find a place to buy that is just like this one. Or...look into booking your next stay. An incredible delight, all around.

Dawn, the zebras alone would have sold us on this place, but reading about your group unplugged on the back patio with coffee and books and zero television is exactly what the Hill Country is supposed to do to people. That kind of stillness is hard to find. The shower situation in the shared bathroom is real, and a handheld fixture is already on order for the house. The shelf space near the sink is a fair point too, and we are adding a solution before the next guests arrive. Bring the girls back when the wildflowers are running. You will want to sit on that patio again.

We put real thought into making the property feel festive for the season, so knowing it landed for your group means a lot. Darlene, those deer on the Hill Country patio are something else, and it sounds like you got the full show. There is a reason guests end up spending half their trip just sitting outside watching them move through the property. Glad the house itself felt like a good fit too. If you make it back out this way in the spring, the wildflowers running through the resort add a whole other layer to that view from the patio.

We absolutely loved staying at Cactus Flower Lodge! It was perfect for us with our 3 year old and my parents and nephew. We spent most of our time on the deck or down by the fire pit while the guys played corn hole. So peaceful and we can’t wait to go back!

Janay, three generations on one deck with the corn hole going down by the fire pit is exactly what that house was set up for, so it is good to hear it worked that way for you. The deck really is the heart of the place, especially once the sun drops behind the hills and it cools off. Next trip, bring a blanket and stay out past dark. The stars over that part of the property are worth the late bedtime, even with a three year old, and the fire pit holds heat long enough to make it easy. Come back and see us.
