The Coco cabin, originally constructed in 1867 and meticulously restored, stands as a testament to the rich history that pervades every inch of its structure. This charming cabin offers guests an authentic experience, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern comforts.

Stepping inside, guests are greeted by a living room that exudes timeless elegance. The focal point of this inviting space is a stone fireplace that not only emanates warmth but also serves as a visual centerpiece. Thoughtfully arranged seating around the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, inviting guests to gather and relax.

The bedroom is designed to be a haven of comfort and tranquility. It features a spacious and comfortable king-sized bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room is tastefully appointed with furnishings that complement the cabin's rustic charm. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bathroom, providing convenience and privacy for guests.

The outdoor shared space is designed for fun and relaxation for guests of all ages. It includes a playscape for children, a pavilion that offers a shaded retreat, making it an ideal spot for outdoor gatherings and picnics. Adjacent to the pavilion is "The Saloon," a fantastic recreational space equipped with a pool table, shuffleboard, a chess table, and more. The Saloon is perfect for friendly competitions, game nights, and socializing.

This is my second stay in this cabin and will not be my last. It’s honestly exactly what I need in order to get away from the hospital life I work every single day. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and just a short drive to Main Street if I choose to get out and about. Honestly, I could just stay at the cabin and enjoy the quiet forever. Absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to come back again!

The place was absolutely beautiful. The area was great, about 10 minutes from town, so it was out in the country. Place was immaculate, very clean, people were responsive with messages with any questions we had. The only thing that was a little misleading was the pool and hot tub, the original listing was clear about who had access, so if you don’t stay in the main house, you don’t have access to the pool, which is not stated in the original listing, which says there is a pool and hot tub. Other than that I have zero complaints and would rate 10/10 to stay there again!

This place is amazing. Beautiful, quiet, rustic, beautifully decorated, well thought out, and within a short drive to everything on Main Street as well as the wineries. The history of the ranch really made me enjoy it so much more. I’m already booking another trip for May! Most definitely a gem away from the chaos of every day life. I am so thankful I stumbled upon this gorgeous ranch when looking for accommodations. Book it! You will not be disappointed!

Dan, coming back year after year says more than any rating could. Glad the location and the house keep hitting the mark, and that we have been easy to reach when you need us. The broken shower tile threshold you mentioned in your private note is already on the repair schedule, and we are getting it sorted before the next arrival. Next time you are out this way, the Guadalupe is running beautifully right now and the house sits you perfectly for a float or a day on the water.

We had such a blast staying here! It’s private, peaceful, and still has plenty to do — which is basically the dream combo. The shared spaces were awesome, and let’s just say things got competitive when my husband and I discovered the shuffleboard. (Spoiler: I won. Obviously.) 😄 - okay maybe one of the three games! The only thing that threw us off at first was figuring out where the actual accommodations were since the listing focuses more on the shared building — and no outside photo of the actual cabin area (which honestly would have helped sell out too the view in the mornings where you can curl up and drink coffee or tea), but once we got settled, everything was smooth sailing. We couldn’t use the outdoor heater because of a burn ban, but it may have been broken too. The bed was super comfy, the water pressure could wake the dead (in the best way), and we left feeling totally refreshed. We’d 100% stay here again — next time I’ll be defending my shuffleboard championship! 🏆

Pam, defending a shuffleboard championship is the kind of return trip motivation we love to hear. That morning coffee view from the cabin porch is genuinely one of our favourite things about the property, and you are right that we need better photos showing it off. We are updating the listing images to give that outdoor space its proper moment and adding clearer directions to the cabin area so the next guests land right where they belong. The outdoor heater has been checked and is back in working order for whenever the burn ban lifts. Come back and collect your title!

Frank, quiet and clean is exactly what we aim for out here, and hearing that everything landed just as expected is the best kind of report card. The Hill Country has a way of slowing things down, and it sounds like the house gave you the right backdrop for that. Next time you come back, catch a weekday morning on the back porch before the rest of the world wakes up. It is something else. Looking forward to having you again!

My wife and I very much loved our stay in the coco cabin. So serene and peaceful where you can escape your hectic worries if only for a moment. Only regret was not being able to extend our stay.
