Heather, walking into town for your shopping instead of hunting a parking spot is exactly why we love this spot, and hearing the house was spotless and stocked with everything you needed tells us it was set up right. Next time you are in Fredericksburg, wander a few blocks past the shops to the tasting rooms on the side streets, they are quieter than the big names and the pours are generous. The porch back at the house is a good place to land afterward. We would be glad to have you again whenever the mood for a Hill Country weekend hits. Beautiful and very updated home. Kitchen was so well equipped with nice quality items. Very quiet neighborhood. The only thing we didn’t love was the very narrow driveway with tree and fence close on each side that you had to go through to get to the parking space. But the amazing house makes up for that. What a wonderful little house! We loved every bit of it! Immaculately clean and top quality in every way! We did not walk to Main Street….but most people could easily walk. We had the absolute best time staying in this home for our girls’ trip. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, and it was great to have two nice bathrooms. The main living room was cozy with comfortable couches and a large TV; each couch had a throw to cozy up with. There is a smaller living room at the back of the house that is also very nice. The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed for our three day visit. The location is very close to Main Street and there is a really nice coffee shop and restaurant on a corner just down the street. The house was lovely, close to Main Street shops and restaurants, and great for a weekend for two couples. Kitchen was good for small group, dinning room had a good table for cards or games, living room was great for comfortable TV watching. Only issue we had was unavailability of early check in when we arrived 1.5 hours early. Laura, "you can't go wrong" is about the highest praise a house can get, and I'm glad it earned it. You also raised the damage protection option at booking, and how it came down to either that or a large hold sitting on your card for weeks. Fair point, and we're rewriting the booking notes so both choices, and exactly what each one covers, are spelled out plainly before you reach the payment screen instead of after. Come see us again. Next time, ask about the trail behind the resort; the early walk down to the creek is worth setting an alarm for. The home was beautiful, clean and spacious! It is perfect for a short or extended stay for two couples, offering several options inside the house, front porch and back patio to eat, drink and relax. My Mom and I stayed here during Thanksgiving while visiting family nearby. The house was spotless, had comfy towels and beds and we had plenty of space! Plenty of dishes, counter space and there were cozy blankets placed throughout the home. We had to turn the heat on for two nights and had no issues. Wonderful stay for a birthday girls weekend with my mom. The place was pristine, exactly as described. Easily walkable to downtown. The reviews talking about a tight driveway are correct, but street parking is available. I didn't have a problem with my midsize SUV. We had no complaints. The location was only a few minutes away from an HEB (could walk if we wanted to) and a few minutes away from main st (could also walk). This house was perfect for our overnight stay. Just off Main street and walkable to great restaurants and shopping. The only thing I was unhappy with was booking with a 3rd party. Beautiful remodel. Very clean and provisions were excellent. We were able to walk to Main Street for coffee and dinners. Easy parking. The interior is nicely furnished with modern appliances. This was the first time I've ever used a microwave that looks like an oven -:).Very conveniently located. HEB is one block down the street. In the opposite direction, Main Street is a mere 3 blocks. Cozi Vacation Rental customer service is fantastic. This was our 47th year of our yearly sister get together. This was not our first time to go to Fredericksburg, but our first vrbo. It was everything and more than the review stated. The 4 of us kept saying "I love this house"! It had everything we needed. It was so clean and looked like a new house on the inside. The only problem we had was the parking. It is perfect for smaller cars. We had a truck and it was a little difficult to maneuver the driveway and the large tree. It was no problem after the first day. My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip to Fredericksburg. The house smelled "new" upon first entering, there was music playing on the tv's and we felt right at home sitting out on the front porch. The house is very cozy and centrally located. Knowing the layout felt right, with room to actually live in the space rather than just sleep in it, means a lot. The dining room and back den are two of our favorite things about the house too. Property was great! Nicely renovated. Perfect location. Everything in walking distance. Enjoyed sitting out on the front porch for happy hour and taking in the neighborhood activities.
