Elm cottage is ideal for couples, intimate weekend getaways, retreats, and special occasions such as anniversaries or birthdays. We look forward to you and your special someone being able to immerse yourselves into this property's stunning hill country and hilltop views, gorgeous oak trees, abundant wildlife and scenery, beautiful night sky and stars, and its firepit with two Adirondack chairs, making for perfect and intimate nights.

Elm Cottage is a luxury studio with a king bed that features a farmhouse kitchen, dining table for two, a Smart-TV, and a private full bath with a walk-in shower and elegant farmhouse soaking tub. Additionally, the cottage has a great outdoor deck and patio perfect for your morning coffee or your evening glass of wine or cocktail.

This rental only includes Elm Cottage for up to 2 individuals. On the same property is Oak Cottage. This is an additional private cottage that may or may not be rented during your rental of Elm Cottage for no more than six individuals. Oak Cottage has its own firepit and facilities. It is private and not included in your rental of Elm Cottage. We ask you to treat any potential guests of Oak Cottage with respect and kindness.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was available. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing stay. Our weekend stay here was wonderful! The cottage was quaint, clean and had all the basic necessities. The location was perfect! We felt very secluded while there which is what we wanted, but we were literally only 10 minutes or so from downtown! The hosts were very responsive and super kind whenever I had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Bridgette, that combination you described, feeling tucked away and still a short drive from downtown, is exactly what makes this spot so hard to leave. Knowing the cottage had everything you needed and that you felt at ease reaching out whenever a question came up means a lot. The Hill Country has a way of pulling people back, and whenever you are ready for another weekend out here, the bluebonnets in spring or the fall colors make for a completely different visit worth planning around.

The Elm cabin was super cute and met all of our needs. Would definitely love to stay there again and would like information about the Oak cabin to bring guests next time. I highly recommend this lovely get away home away from home.

Me and my fiancée had a great time for her birthday. They recommended a lot of great things to do in the area and they made the whole trip easy for us. We really recommend staying here when visiting the wine country and we will definitely be back here next time we go out there.

Raymond, a birthday trip through wine country with your fiancée is about as good as it gets out here, and we are glad the local tips made the whole thing feel easy rather than overwhelming. The Hill Country has so much tucked away that it genuinely helps to know where to point people. Come back when you two are ready to celebrate the next chapter, and ask us about the smaller family vineyards a little off the beaten path. Those tend to be the ones guests remember most!

Bella, those Hill Country stars pull people back every time, and it sounds like the cottage delivered exactly what two people need: just enough space, total quiet, and that sky. Knowing you are already planning a return visit means a lot. When you come back, try to catch a sunrise from the porch if you can get yourselves up for it. The morning light out here is something else entirely.

Perfect place outside of town for a short getaway. We chose this home because of the kitchen and saved a lot of money cooking our meals. Location is about 15min from many wineries on 290. Maps took us past the house and tried to lead us from the neighbors through the grass. It was dark so took a second to find the correct address. Easy to spot in the daytime with a large sign. Early check in is available for $65 for 2 hours early. I was disappointed in this but not enough to deduct stars because it was a great place to stay. Though, probably will pick another place in the future as most Airbnb owners don’t charge for early check in when the home is available, but this home is managed by a business.

Kaylee, cooking your own meals in that kitchen while staying minutes from the wineries is honestly one of the smartest ways to do a Hill Country trip. Glad that setup worked so well for you. The navigation issue in the dark is real, and we have added clearer arrival instructions with a landmark callout so guests coming in at night know exactly where to turn before maps tries to send them through the grass. On early check-in, your point is fair and we hear it. Hope the wine country pulls you back out this way soon.

Juan, quiet is what that cottage does best, and I'm glad it delivered for you. You were right to flag the pillows. The long ones are too firm and the small ones give you nothing to work with, so we're swapping the whole set for medium-fill queen pillows with a couple of soft ones on each bed. Come back when the wildflowers are up along the resort's walking trails in spring. It's the same stillness you liked, just with a lot more color out the window. It was a short drive from Hwy 290 and the location was close to the attractions and events I was in town for. Short drive to the various wineries and Fredericksburg to explore the shops on Main Street. The place was just like the pictures and felt cozy. I enjoyed the big shower and tub. The night sky is spectacular. Would love to stay again.

Thao, that night sky alone is worth the drive out, and it sounds like you got the full Hill Country experience, wineries, Main Street, and a shower worth writing home about. We are swapping out the TV remote for one with better response so the next stay is easier from the couch. A basket of house slippers is going in as well, because those stickers are no joke. Come back in the spring when the wildflowers are up along the roadsides. It is a whole different kind of spectacular!

Cute cottage in a quiet area! We chose those location due to its proximity to Grapetown Vineyards and desire to stay in an area more private than downtown. Although secluded, the drive into town is a quick 10-15 minutes. We will definitely return in the future!
