Everything was great, although when we first arrived the door key pad was dead but with communication we were able to get in! I would book again

I booked this house for a Comal River weekend trip and had a great time. It’s about 20 minutes from the nearest H-E-B and the Comal public river access. The property has fantastic amenities—hot tub, river access, fire pit, and grill—all of which worked perfectly. The interior was spotless, the kitchen fully stocked, and the unique layout offered plenty of space for our large group. There are seven large beds, so a couple of us doubled up and it worked fine. The spacious living room and ample outdoor seating made it easy to spread out. The long driveway gives a secluded, quiet feel. My only suggestion would be to provide more cleaning supplies, like wipes and a mop, so guests can tidy up during their stay. They were extremely responsive to all messages throughout the stay. All in all, no complaints!

The house was beautiful!!!!! The owners were incredibly accommodating! They thought of everything! We had a perfect weekend! Was just a little trail to the river and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay’ thank you so much for allowing us this weekend!

The only item that's not clear in photos is that you cannot see the water from the deck or porch. However, the house is as pictured, there's easy access to the water & the deer all around add to the idyllic setting. Having kayaks that are easy to access was a definite plus for me & my significant other just couldn't get enough of simply sitting outdoors. He's usually stuck in Houston traffic so that's all he needed to recharge.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gettin Guadaloopy. It felt very off the map but conveniently located to town. Be aware that it is a couple miles down a rocky road. The home provided many conveniences and activities to do. The kitchen was supplied with many things from dishes to meat thermometer. River access was just a small walk from the back deck. We enjoyed the availability of chairs and kayaks close to the river. Overall a great stay!

Following the gravel road turn off for a mile, we drove slowly past deer grazing in a 500+-acre hay field edging a canal. We turned into a wooded area passing more deer. We arrived at the 3-bedroom A frame, opened the backdoor via code, and stepped into a hunters' retreat. The master bedroom downstairs was tastefully decorated, and the two bedrooms upstairs were delightful. A covered side porch offers comfortable couch and chair seating. The deck wraps around a tree and has a roomy table for outdoor eating. We enjoyed the firepit and seating. The hot tub is set at 89 degrees, a comfortable cool off setting, and will slowly heat to higher temperatures. The backyard stretches about 3/4 acre down to the river, where kayaks are provided. The property does have close by neighbors, but a privacy fence helps with screening.
