Description

The cabin is very private and has been comfortably furnished with accented antiques. It consists of two bedrooms (one king bed and one queen bed), a large living area, a classic country kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms (both with clawfoot bathtub and one with an additional shower), porch with barbecue grill and gas fireplace.

Additionally, this cabin has a gorgeous scenic view of Texas Hill Country from its back patio, making it the perfect stay for you and your loved ones.

This was a great place to stay. While only minutes from the downtown area, it felt like you were in a true rural, country setting. Though it is only a two bedroom, the cabin is very roomy. All the rooms are quite large. Everything was very clean and cozy. It was very reminiscent of stepping back in time. We loved the decor and charm. We would definitely stay there again.

We have been staying at the Weirich Farm since 2015! It is far enough out of town, yet close enough to get things you may need. HEB and Main Street is about 10 minutes from the house. Every time we come it always feels like a home away from home. The home is spacious, quiet and cozy!

Nos encantó hospedarnos en esta casita antigua en Fredericksburg. El alojamiento está increíble — lleno de detalles antiguos, decorado con muchísimo gusto y muy bien cuidado. Fue una experiencia padrísima vivir unos días en un lugar con tanta historia y encanto. Por las mañanas veíamos venados en el jardín, ¡una escena de película! Y una de las noches nos tocó una tormenta de lluvia espectacular, que hizo la estancia aún más especial. Todo fue perfecto, cálido y muy auténtico. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver!

The Weirich Farm cabin is a stunning piece of Fredericksburg history. Walking in the house is like stepping into a flawless painting of historic times. The cabin is large enough to meet your needs and both bedrooms are more than enough for travelers. The enclosed patio outside allowed us to easily view the beautiful scenery around us without having to brave the cold and rain. The property company was extraordinary and helpful. The very few issues that we ran into were met with prompt assistance and guidance. The city of Fredericksburg has incredible sites and shops to offer that was close enough to be convenient whilst still allowing optimum privacy to enjoy the stay. I would highly recommend this place for all of your traveling needs. Check in and check out was simple and easy, no in person contact needed and the place was well maintained and tidy. Choose from one the many Cozi experiences to enhance your stay, it is worth the price!

Original house from 1850s with antique insides as well and older bathrooms. Lots of room for 4 people. Loved the firepit. Location perfect to anywhere in Fredericksburg area (5 minute drive to downtown). Only thing I wish it had was a dishwasher.

We had a great time staying at the Historic Cabin. It was. a clean well maintained property. The screened in porch, patio with a fire pit and firewood , front porch swing and rockers made for great places to enjoy the country scenery. The corn hole game was a fun activity. We had a little confusion when two different entrance codes were sent to us. A gentle suggestion would be to have little information cards posted telling about the historical items in the house. Great country location but not to far from town.

Wonderful location and serene setting. Deer with multiple fawns every morning and turkeys in the late afternoon. The mattresses need attention or a refresh as they are both so way past their prime. But the atmosphere at the cabin was so instantly relaxing

We stayed at this house with friends for a weekend couples getaway. The property is clean and well cared for. It provides a relaxing country cottage feel that makes you think you're miles from anywhere but is still an incredibly convenient location for touring the wineries and visiting Fredericksburg. The grill and fire pit made it easy to come back and prepare a relaxing dinner then kick back and unwind after a day out. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Queen bed could use a softer mattress. Electrical outlet in Master bath didn't work. Other than these minor issues. Very comfortable cabin in quiet neighborhood.

This was a great place to rent for a weekend. The history of the place, the location, the kitchen worked out well for our group. The only downside and we didn't notice it in the listing, but both bathrooms were not ADA compliant. We had a disabled person with us and the step down into the main bathroom and the clawtubs were not managable for them.

This property has so much history. I loved the historic charm. Great deal for the property. We had deer all around us. We loved sitting out on the porch in the swing and watching the deer. It was so quiet and peaceful. Just a great getaway place but close enough to Fredericksburg. We loved it and would book again.
