Upon arrival, there was a very strong skunk-like odor throughout the home that caused headaches and nausea, so we were unable to stay. We understand that nature is nature and that the host was unaware of the smell, and we appreciate their responsiveness. Thankfully, Carlos quickly relocated us to an elegant, comfortable home, and another team member even reached out before checkout to make sure everything was going well. Great customer service overall.

Vanessa, walking into that skunk odor on arrival is a rough way to start a Hill Country trip, and we are glad Carlos got you moved quickly and into a home that actually felt like a getaway. That follow-up check before checkout is exactly how we want every stay to run, and it means a lot to hear it landed the right way. Harrison, short drives to good wine country is exactly what the Hill Country was made for, and that stretch of wineries around here makes for a pretty hard trip to beat. Glad the location worked that well for you. Next time you're out this way, the Fredericksburg side has a handful of smaller tasting rooms that are worth an afternoon if you haven't worked through those yet. Hope we see you back at the house soon.

Rohan, a perfect ten from you on a two-word review made us smile. Glad the house delivered, even if you are keeping the details to yourself. The Hill Country has a way of doing that, making people want to sit quietly and take it in rather than write about it. If you come back in the spring, the wildflowers around the property are genuinely something worth seeing. Hope we get another chance to host you.
