This was the perfect spot for us while attending a wedding nearby at Hayes Hollow Hidden Falls. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Grabbed a bite at Sandra’s for some Mexican food. Which was fantastic by the way! We would definitely stay again.

Sandra's is a local favorite around here, so you picked well on the first try. Next time you're out, make a morning of the Pedernales Falls trails before the heat sets in, then come back and take the porch for the rest of the afternoon. Estamos muy satisfechos con las amenidades y atenciones recibidas durante la estancia. La casa es muy bonita, tal cual lo muestran las fotografías, todo muy limpio y accesible, en el patio pudimos ver venados, zorros, ardillas, fue muy emocionante para mis niños. Maria, que sus niños vieran venados, zorros y ardillas en el patio es justo lo que más nos gusta escuchar de esta casa. Nos alegra mucho que todo estuviera limpio y tal cual se ve en las fotografías, y que encontraran esa tranquilidad que buscaban. I have already recommended this rental to five other families. The deer and fawn you see in the morning and evening are precious. They're very friendly (always approach wild animals with caution) and they enjoy apples and lettuce. The property was spotless, the host was excellent at communication. In all of my decades of traveling this was by far a top 5 rental property in my opinion for the value of everything you get.There is a dollar general market if you want to bring food/get essentials. However, I recommend doing a WalMart or Target pickup maybe 30 minutes from the property so you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy!

over all the stay was Good wifi worked so we could work. the backyard hosted lost of local wildlife the only downside was the dryer wasn't connected to the wall vent to vent out and as it's summer time we found scorpions the host was made aware of these things and we were told they would be attended to so in all the host was responsive so good stay

Stephen, a 10 from someone who still found the check-in process a bit much to navigate means a lot. You are right that the ID verification step, photo and all, adds friction right at the start of a trip. We have trimmed the pre-arrival email sequence down and clarified exactly why that step is there, so guests coming in behind you will have a cleaner path to the door. When you come back to the Hill Country, the hard part is already done on your end. We hope to have you out here again soon!

Really nice property. Sunlight streams into the home. Deer roam the property by the hour. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and in good order. Only recommendation would be to have a full length mirror installed in the rooms or hall as we were preparing to attend a wedding. Would have been helpful to see whole appearances. Overall, enjoyed our stay!
