We loved our stay. The backyard and deck were the highlight of our stay. The lights in the evening were perfect for hanging out. Kids had plenty of space to play. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were small but adequate. Loved our stay. Highly recommended!

This house has EVERYTHING you need to have a relaxing and fun weekend at the lake. Fantastic location right on the water with a private dock. Kayak and stand up paddle boards... oh and a ping pong table! Kitchen is more than equipped with cooking utensils and dishes! Cozy house! Plenty of parking. We enjoyed every bit of our stay!

We had practically everything we needed for our family to enjoy on this quiet cove. The kids/teenagers enjoyed the paddle boards while the adults enjoyed the paddleboat. Lots of fun playing badminton in the shady backyard! Enjoyed morning coffee out on the deck while watching the water and listening to the birds. Played games inside at night. Overall, lots of fun and memories made!

We stayed in this home during a very busy July 4th weekend. The deck and outdoor amenities are very nice and I was able to park my boat and a jet ski with no problem. We rented this property for a family vacation. It was perfect. The two story dock was perfect to fish from or just lounge in the shade. My kids had fun with the paddle boat and stand up paddle boards. The cove was quiet, but close to the river. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: My three teenage boys and I just spent a 4-day weekend at the Lazy Cove house as the last hurrah of the summer, before school started back. The location was perfect for us. The house has plenty of beds so everyone had a separate area, and there are two bathrooms, which is nice. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bottle of sparkling fruit juice was much appreciated. The covered private dock was the best part. We sat out there quite a bit. It took mere seconds for my kids to find the switch to the bluetooth speaker and the white Christmas lights all around the upper dock. We used all the sporting equipment, with the kayak being our favorite. All 4 of us explored the cove in every direction, and then went out to where it meets the river for a lovely view. We grilled out one night using the propane grill, and ate right there on the patio under the trees. Super pretty. We took a day trip to the Longhorn Cavern, which is only 18 minutes East. Just fantastic. The local HEB is only 7 minutes away. The house has a closet full of board and card games, as well as a drawer of DVDs under the living room TV and CDs by the stereo. The ping pong table was lots of fun too. There is a single serving coffee maker, a microwave and a toaster oven, along with a 12" cast iron skillet which we used every morning for breakfast. There is also a built-in dishwasher. All in all, it was a lovely, relaxing vacation. The management company is very communicative and easy to work with. This is my second time using them. I really like that you might get an early check in or check out, depending on if the house is rented right before or after your stay. You won't know until the day before you arrive and leave. We were able to check in 3 hours early at noon, and stay 2 hours later till noon. I highly recommend the Lazy Cove House!

4 adults and 2 kids--We all had fun. Deck above boathouse was a great place to relax. Paddleboat and Standup paddle boards were a hit. We rented a ski boat, so we had fun tubing. The kitchen was stocked with everything. Lots of games for the kids. We plan to rent this lakehouse again.

Lazy Cove was a great property for me and my friends. We had plenty of beds for our group of 9 and the amenities were amazing. We had a great time on the inflatable kayak and the paddle boards. The house was much more spacious than I was expecting, and the kitchen had absolutely everything I needed. Lots of board games and the kids played ping pong for hours when they weren’t out on the SUPs. We made a last minute reservation and the management company accommodated us and replied to my questions immediately. We will definitely be coming back!

This my second time to stay here. It's pretty cool to pull the boat up and chill on the deck with some tunes. The SUPs are great to take out early in the morning. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you don't have a good time here, it's certainly not the location. Jaynelle was my local contact and she made sure we were good to go. I even left the cord to my speaker behind and she is mailing it to me. That is above and beyond good customer service.

Back yard beautiful w big shady trees w two story dock with up top being a great place to relax w cocktails…we fished…and caught fish…family could dock their boat and just off the main beating path of the main lake! Fantastic place to stay! The property managers were easy to communicate with and very fast at responding to questions. House was very clean upon arrival. Location was great and quiet. You feel like you are a million miles away and yet there is an HEB just 3 miles away. The double deck is a HUGE bonus! Deck is great for relaxing on in the shade or in the sun because it is partially covered. Our kids loved fishing from it. Also, we loved that this rental came with stand up paddle boards, canoe and kayak. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Every time that we needed something, it was there. We would highly recommend this rental house and the property managers. Thanks for a great getaway!

We had a great time with out five kids (ages 18-10) while staying in Kingland. It was so much fun to be right on the water. The location was great. The paddle boards and paddle boats were a hit! The house had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for all 7 of us to spread and out relax at the end of the days. Bring your food and your sunscreen and you are set. Our 13 year old twins played endless hours of ping pong, we took the SUPs and kayaks out for several spins around the cove and enjoyed the games that were on hand (Scrabble, poker, chess, etc). The 2 story covered dock is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy the view, or if it's too warm, sit inside on the comfy couch and watch the hummingbirds and squirrels through the window. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and we made waffles with the Belgian waffle maker. There is a small gas grill out on the patio where we cooked out several nights. The bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable and both bathrooms are outfitted with plenty of plush towels. I would highly recommend this location for family fun.

The best thing about the house is that it is fully equipped with everything for the lake ! Other homes that I've stayed at do not have this , or if they do it is for rent. This house had a paddle boat, canoes, and paddle board. It also had numerous amounts of life jackets for adults and kids. We were literally never bored. They also had a closet full of games ! We bought dominoes and playing cards, not knowing this house has it all. The only issue I had was the email response time. Within the 2 weeks before my stay I had sent 3 emails and never received a response. So if you need to contact someone I suggest you call them and not email.

Several of us stayed here for a mother/daughter trip. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The boat house deck has a beautiful view. We all enjoyed paddling around in the cove in the provided paddle boat and paddle boards as well as the kayaks we brought with us. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Very clean and cozy, everything you need! The kids enjoyed the stand up paddle boards and paddle boat! The deck is great. Fishing was a bust as there is a LOT of algae in the cove and it kept getting stuck on our hooks. Kids didn't mind swimming in the cove but it was pretty thick with algae, everything from the lake floats in. My husband and I would not swim in it, lots of turtles.

This house has everything. They stocked this house with everything you could possibly need! The house was great and had several upgrades. The air conditioner keeps the house cold the whole time. Beds were very comfortable which is a huge thing for me because I have a bad back. So many seating and sleeping options inside! The two refrigerators gave us so much room to work with. The updated kitchen has a ton of prep space. The outside was spectacular! The doc is so fun, so many seating options outside and it had so many things to keep the kids and adults entertained. The dock is great for pulling your boat up. Very easy in and out. The grills were great too, gas grill was almost brand new and the bbq pit in front was big enough to cook 4 packages of fajitas at one time! 10 out of 10 would recommend for any vacation home! You’re missing out if you don’t rent this house! We will absolutely be back!

This property had wonderful areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We had 3 people staying and the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths worked perfectly for us. The grassy flat area to get out to the boat dock made it easier for elderly to have access & to be able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Wonderful!

We have now stayed here twice and have loved it both times! Great amenities, great location, super comfy and cozy. We love the little notes from the owners about where things are, what to do, what we can use etc. You really feel like you are staying at a friends house. The paddle boards are very nice, it's on a great section of the lake. Kitchen is well stocked. We will be back a 3rd, 4th and more times!

Great property, very secluded. The kids had fun on the kayaks and paddle boards. We loved the music selection. The upper deck was a great place to enjoy coffee in the mornings and relax in the evenings. The only negative thing is that the propane grill didn’t work however there was a large charcoal grill that one could use.

I've been looking for the lake house I want to return to again and again and this is it! THE listing is spot on but the property is even better than described. Plenty of room indoors and outside for everyone to spread out, even a large group. We paddled, swam, lounged on the dock, cooked fabulous meals in the fantastic kitchen that has everything. Was a wonderful relaxing location. Not loud from the constant passing of boats but was close enough to go to the main lake and watch them if we wanted too. Beautiful fireworks in the distance nightly. Just the down time we needed.

Beautiful property. Super clean, well stocked, and everything was clearly communicated as to how things operate, where things are stored, etc. So many amenities. Lots of watercraft, life jackets, etc. highly recommend. Note: the cabin sits on a cove, and the water is grassy and mossy. Not the best swimming area, especially with small children.

Our family of 13 reserved this place for the weekend to celebrate some milestone birthdays. There were plenty of fun water activities to do with the wide array of equipment available-kayaks, paddle boat, and paddle boards. Access to the lake is so convenient, just a few feet from the house. The 2 outside decks made hanging outside together easy and fun. The house itself was very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you can think of. The beds were super comfy and the sun porch room was a special area with room to sleep and a view to the lake.

We had a wonderful stay!! It was such a relaxing spot with a gorgeous view of the water. We spent the most time on the upper deck! The paddle boat was an added bonus for my husband and son.The only issue we had was getting into the house when we arrived. We couldn’t get the keypad to work to unlock the door. I was able to get ahold of someone right away, and they let us in.

Great house. We fished, swam, and floated right from the dock. In the evening, the upper deck was the place to be. We grilled and ate from the deck every night, watching the sun go down. This place has all the amenities needed for a fun family stay. During the thunderstorm, we enjoyed playing ping pong on the screened-in front porch. We would definitely stay here again. I have already recommended this to others.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our 20, 16, and 13 year old children did too. The dock is awesome, and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and using the SUPs in the cove area too. The house is an older house, but it was clean and well appointed. If we came back to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

The property is well maintained. The rental includes access to their paddle boat, two stand up paddle boards, a kayak and numerous other small lake toys. The back deck has a great set up and plenty of seating to spend the day in and out of the lake.

I am so pleased with my stay! I had a few girlfriends come out for the weekend for a birthday getaway and we had a blast! The location is close to food, antique shopping and only about 15-20 minutes from the winery we went to! The property manager had a sweet note and some sparkling apple cider waiting on the counter when we arrived as well! The dock is so relaxing and has a nice view out into the cove. I would recommend it to anyone! Thanks again :)

A terrific set up with the deck and covered boat dock. It is truly beautiful at night with the lights. We enjoyed using the paddle boat, paddle boards and kayak. After COVID ends, this will be a wonderful place to spend time with friends. Very relaxing and beautiful. Great automated texting and quick response. If the texting service isn’t set up to answer your question, call the number and they will help you. A big thanks to Max for resolving a question for us when we were having trouble getting an answer. Bring paper goods (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper), extra dishwasher tablets and cup towels in case you use up the starter set. We will definitely be back. A great place!

I was looking for a lake front house that had access to water activities to enjoy. This house fit perfectly. Great location on a cove. House came with kayaks and stand up paddle boards (and a paddle boat but we didn’t use that). We rented a jet ski and it was easy and convenient to change out drivers/riders from the dock. Loved the upper deck on the dock for morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evening. We would definitely return again.

We had a great time. Rented this house for my 13 year old dtr and a few of her friends. They enjoyed paddle boarding and boating, kayaking and fishing. The house was clean and well kept. The main refrigerator was not cold at first but we adjusted it and used the second refrigerator in the meantime. Nice to have the second one.

The house we stayed in was an older house but updated throughout from appliances to floor carpet etc. Perfect access to the water being In the corner of the cove was just excellent. Water toys were in good shape and fun the upper deck of the dock was amazing really fun fishing from up there caught a few nice size catfish to. Not much of a fish man so all were released no harm overall the trip was amazing

We loved our stay. The backyard and deck were the highlight of our stay. The lights in the evening were perfect for hanging out. Kids had plenty of space to play. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were small but adequate. Loved our stay. Highly recommended!

This house has EVERYTHING you need to have a relaxing and fun weekend at the lake. Fantastic location right on the water with a private dock. Kayak and stand up paddle boards... oh and a ping pong table! Kitchen is more than equipped with cooking utensils and dishes! Cozy house! Plenty of parking. We enjoyed every bit of our stay!

We had practically everything we needed for our family to enjoy on this quiet cove. The kids/teenagers enjoyed the paddle boards while the adults enjoyed the paddleboat. Lots of fun playing badminton in the shady backyard! Enjoyed morning coffee out on the deck while watching the water and listening to the birds. Played games inside at night. Overall, lots of fun and memories made!

We stayed in this home during a very busy July 4th weekend. The deck and outdoor amenities are very nice and I was able to park my boat and a jet ski with no problem. The home was clean and enjoyed our stay. I really liked that the home was just off of the main body of water. We would stay here again for sure.

We rented this property for a family vacation. It was perfect. The two story dock was perfect to fish from or just lounge in the shade. My kids had fun with the paddle boat and stand up paddle boards. The cove was quiet, but close to the river. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: My three teenage boys and I just spent a 4-day weekend at the Lazy Cove house as the last hurrah of the summer, before school started back. The location was perfect for us. The house has plenty of beds so everyone had a separate area, and there are two bathrooms, which is nice. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bottle of sparkling fruit juice was much appreciated. The covered private dock was the best part. We sat out there quite a bit. It took mere seconds for my kids to find the switch to the bluetooth speaker and the white Christmas lights all around the upper dock. We used all the sporting equipment, with the kayak being our favorite. All 4 of us explored the cove in every direction, and then went out to where it meets the river for a lovely view. We grilled out one night using the propane grill, and ate right there on the patio under the trees. Super pretty. We took a day trip to the Longhorn Cavern, which is only 18 minutes East. Just fantastic. The local HEB is only 7 minutes away. The house has a closet full of board and card games, as well as a drawer of DVDs under the living room TV and CDs by the stereo. The ping pong table was lots of fun too. There is a single serving coffee maker, a microwave and a toaster oven, along with a 12" cast iron skillet which we used every morning for breakfast. There is also a built-in dishwasher. All in all, it was a lovely, relaxing vacation. The management company is very communicative and easy to work with. This is my second time using them. I really like that you might get an early check in or check out, depending on if the house is rented right before or after your stay. You won't know until the day before you arrive and leave. We were able to check in 3 hours early at noon, and stay 2 hours later till noon. I highly recommend the Lazy Cove House!

4 adults and 2 kids--We all had fun. Deck above boathouse was a great place to relax. Paddleboat and Standup paddle boards were a hit. We rented a ski boat, so we had fun tubing. The kitchen was stocked with everything. Lots of games for the kids. We plan to rent this lakehouse again.

Lazy Cove was a great property for me and my friends. We had plenty of beds for our group of 9 and the amenities were amazing. We had a great time on the inflatable kayak and the paddle boards. The grills were extremely helpful and the over all set up of the property was fabulous. Cannot wait to stay again!

The house was much more spacious than I was expecting, and the kitchen had absolutely everything I needed. Lots of board games and the kids played ping pong for hours when they weren’t out on the SUPs. We made a last minute reservation and the management company accommodated us and replied to my questions immediately. We will definitely be coming back!

This my second time to stay here. It's pretty cool to pull the boat up and chill on the deck with some tunes. The SUPs are great to take out early in the morning. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you don't have a good time here, it's certainly not the location. Jaynelle was my local contact and she made sure we were good to go. I even left the cord to my speaker behind and she is mailing it to me. That is above and beyond good customer service.

Back yard beautiful w big shady trees w two story dock with up top being a great place to relax w cocktails…we fished…and caught fish…family could dock their boat and just off the main beating path of the main lake! Fantastic place to stay! The property managers were easy to communicate with and very fast at responding to questions. House was very clean upon arrival. Location was great and quiet. You feel like you are a million miles away and yet there is an HEB just 3 miles away. The double deck is a HUGE bonus! Deck is great for relaxing on in the shade or in the sun because it is partially covered. Our kids loved fishing from it. Also, we loved that this rental came with stand up paddle boards, canoe and kayak. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Every time that we needed something, it was there. We would highly recommend this rental house and the property managers. Thanks for a great getaway!

We had a great time with out five kids (ages 18-10) while staying in Kingland. It was so much fun to be right on the water. The location was great. The paddle boards and paddle boats were a hit! The house had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for all 7 of us to spread and out relax at the end of the days. Bring your food and your sunscreen and you are set. This was the perfect long weekend getaway. Met the owners when we came a little early to drop off our boat before going golfing. They were great. Hubby fished every morning and we crusied the lake in the afternoons. Well equipped house. Looking forward to a return trip with the rest of the family.

Our 13 year old twins played endless hours of ping pong, we took the SUPs and kayaks out for several spins around the cove and enjoyed the games that were on hand (Scrabble, poker, chess, etc). The 2 story covered dock is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy the view, or if it's too warm, sit inside on the comfy couch and watch the hummingbirds and squirrels through the window. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and we made waffles with the Belgian waffle maker. There is a small gas grill out on the patio where we cooked out several nights. The bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable and both bathrooms are outfitted with plenty of plush towels. I would highly recommend this location for family fun.

The best thing about the house is that it is fully equipped with everything for the lake ! Other homes that I've stayed at do not have this , or if they do it is for rent. This house had a paddle boat, canoes, and paddle board. It also had numerous amounts of life jackets for adults and kids. We were literally never bored. They also had a closet full of games ! We bought dominoes and playing cards, not knowing this house has it all. The only issue I had was the email response time. Within the 2 weeks before my stay I had sent 3 emails and never received a response. So if you need to contact someone I suggest you call them and not email.

Several of us stayed here for a mother/daughter trip. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The boat house deck has a beautiful view. We all enjoyed paddling around in the cove in the provided paddle boat and paddle boards as well as the kayaks we brought with us. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Very clean and cozy, everything you need! The kids enjoyed the stand up paddle boards and paddle boat! The deck is great. Fishing was a bust as there is a LOT of algae in the cove and it kept getting stuck on our hooks. Kids didn't mind swimming in the cove but it was pretty thick with algae, everything from the lake floats in. My husband and I would not swim in it, lots of turtles.

This house has everything. They stocked this house with everything you could possibly need! The house was great and had several upgrades. The air conditioner keeps the house cold the whole time. Beds were very comfortable which is a huge thing for me because I have a bad back. So many seating and sleeping options inside! The two refrigerators gave us so much room to work with. The updated kitchen has a ton of prep space. The outside was spectacular! The doc is so fun, so many seating options outside and it had so many things to keep the kids and adults entertained. The dock is great for pulling your boat up. Very easy in and out. The grills were great too, gas grill was almost brand new and the bbq pit in front was big enough to cook 4 packages of fajitas at one time! 10 out of 10 would recommend for any vacation home! You’re missing out if you don’t rent this house! We will absolutely be back!

This property had wonderful areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We had 3 people staying and the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths worked perfectly for us. The grassy flat area to get out to the boat dock made it easier for elderly to have access & to be able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Wonderful!

We have now stayed here twice and have loved it both times! Great amenities, great location, super comfy and cozy. We love the little notes from the owners about where things are, what to do, what we can use etc. You really feel like you are staying at a friends house. The paddle boards are very nice, it's on a great section of the lake. Kitchen is well stocked. We will be back a 3rd, 4th and more times!

Great property, very secluded. The kids had fun on the kayaks and paddle boards. We loved the music selection. The upper deck was a great place to enjoy coffee in the mornings and relax in the evenings. The only negative thing is that the propane grill didn’t work however there was a large charcoal grill that one could use.

I've been looking for the lake house I want to return to again and again and this is it! THE listing is spot on but the property is even better than described. Plenty of room indoors and outside for everyone to spread out, even a large group. We paddled, swam, lounged on the dock, cooked fabulous meals in the fantastic kitchen that has everything. Super cute and comfortable place to stay with everything you need. Beautiful view of lake. Lots of fun things to do-paddle boarding, swimming and grilling out. The whole family had a blast!

A terrific set up with the deck and covered boat dock. It is truly beautiful at night with the lights. We enjoyed using the paddle boat, paddle boards and kayak. After COVID ends, this will be a wonderful place to spend time with friends. Very relaxing and beautiful. Great automated texting and quick response. If the texting service isn’t set up to answer your question, call the number and they will help you. A big thanks to Max for resolving a question for us when we were having trouble getting an answer. Bring paper goods (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper), extra dishwasher tablets and cup towels in case you use up the starter set. We will definitely be back. A great place!

I was looking for a lake front house that had access to water activities to enjoy. This house fit perfectly. Great location on a cove. House came with kayaks and stand up paddle boards (and a paddle boat but we didn’t use that). We rented a jet ski and it was easy and convenient to change out drivers/riders from the dock. Loved the upper deck on the dock for morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evening. We would definitely return again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property has everything you will need for a fabulous vacation on the lake! We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave! It was also super clean - we couldn't have asked for more!

accomadated my large group of 10 people well. nice backyard to set up corn hole or any other games. Liked the ping pong table and outside deck area above the dock. overall, great stay and great place. highly recommend.

Property was clean and kitchen had everything needed to make a great meal! The deck was the best part. Spent all weekend in the shade of the upper deck or in the water enjoying the fun water toys. Can't think of a thing I would change!@

We had a great time. Rented this house for my 13 year old dtr and a few of her friends. They enjoyed paddle boarding and boating, kayaking and fishing. The house was clean and well kept. The main refrigerator was not cold at first but we adjusted it and used the second refrigerator in the meantime. Nice to have the second one.

The house we stayed in was an older house but updated throughout from appliances to floor carpet etc. Perfect access to the water being In the corner of the cove was just excellent. Water toys were in good shape and fun the upper deck of the dock was amazing really fun fishing from up there caught a few nice size catfish to. Not much of a fish man so all were released no harm overall the trip was amazing
