Description

When the final yellows, oranges, and reds of the sunset have faded, you will have a decision to make. Do you hit Historic Downtown Fredericksburg for some fun and winery hopping, or do you hit Luckenbach and enjoy the live music and dancing? or settle into the hot tub while you watch ten thousand stars wake up one by one? On the other hand, why limit yourself? Our suggestion is to do them all, over the course of your stay!

-Parking: Only park in driveway. Do NOT park in grass.

-Please be cautious and aware of wildlife while driving at night in our area.

Had a little issue with the gate and door code but they were able to resolve the issue quickly. The place was beautiful and quiet. Just what we needed.

Krista, the gate and door code should have worked the first time you pulled up, and I'm glad the team got you sorted fast. We've moved to testing both codes the morning of arrival rather than the day before, so the next set you get is live before you turn in off the main road. Beautiful and quiet is exactly what that house is built for. Next trip, take a coffee out to the porch early and watch the deer work through the treeline. It's the best part of the morning out there, and we'd love to have you back for it. We keep 10% off for guests who come back to us, so that is there for you next time. Private small cabin next to main cabin. Hot tub excellent. Small kitchenette with hot plate access. No stove. Nice fireplace. Lived the country scenery and great get away from the city. Bedroom is upstairs. Downside is no bathroom upstairs and need to go downstairs.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do it justice! The cabin was just beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the porches! The 25 minute drive to Fredericksburg was worth the privacy and relaxation! We would definitely stay again!

Tricia, that hot tub with Hill Country views is one of those things the camera just cannot capture, and it sounds like you found exactly what we hope every guest finds out here, which is real quiet. The 25-minute drive to Fredericksburg is the whole point, some peace before the wine trail and the main street, and we love hearing it landed that way for you. Next time you're out, ask us about timing your visit around the wildflower season. The porches you loved look pretty different when the fields are in bloom!

The wife and I loved the peace and quiet. Enjoyed the escape to country. The hot tub was at the perfect temperature and ready for us. Tons of wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch having coffee in the morning or a margarita in the afternoon.

We really loved this place! from the front porch to the back porch and everything in between was perfect. Inside was super comfortable and roomy. All in all the place was just flat out perfect. The views are amazing!! Honestly when we go back we will spend more time at the property than in town. Also got the chance to chat with the owners and Mr. Johnny really made us feel at home and welcomed!

This rental exceeded our expectations. If you are wanting to go to Fredericksburg and not stay in town, we would highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again. Lots of deer on the property to watch and the cabin was beautiful. Honestly have nothing negative to say!

We loved this location for our anniversary getaway. We felt secluded, but it’s only a 30 min drive into town. The bed and bath linens were so soft and luxurious! The fireplace was so nice, and we even had good cell service and Wi-Fi!
