Inside, the spacious bedroom is anchored by a romantic king-size canopy bed, offering comfort and style in equal measure. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower and modern amenities for a spa-like experience.

Begin your mornings with a light breakfast and a freshly brewed pot of coffee at the well-equipped wet bar, complete with a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. Then step outside to the back patio, where a bistro table invites you to sip your coffee or wine while watching the sunrise or sunset—and perhaps even catch a glimpse of wildlife roaming nearby.

Messina Cabin is one of four private rentals in a charming complex on the winery grounds. These suites can be reserved individually for a quiet getaway or together for a larger group retreat.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply seeking a serene escape, Messina Cabin offers comfort, character, and proximity to everything Fredericksburg has to offer.

Great location Space was great Host was communicative and helpful Cottage had everything needed. Did not love the damage deposit options. Chose the 1000 refundable after 5 days option since the other seems like a money grab. Parking could use assigned spaces for each cottage since the cottages have names.

Dora, the champagne and fresh muffins are our favorite part of getting a cabin ready, so I'm glad they landed the way we hoped. Spotless and fully stocked is the standard we hold ourselves to, and hearing it come back from a guest means the folks who prep these homes got it right. Next time you're out this way, take an evening at the fire pit after dark. The Hill Country sky out here is something else once the porch lights go off, and most guests don't realize how many stars they've been missing. Come back and see us. Perfect little place for my husband and I. It was just a short drive into Fredericksburg, but far enough out to get that country feel. We even had some deer visit. The place was very clean and oddly enough we loved the shampoo,conditioner, and body wash that was provided as it was great quality.

Kristen, those deer showing up at the right moment is one of those Hill Country things you just can't plan for, and it sounds like the house delivered exactly the quiet country feel you were after. Glad the amenities cleared the bar too, the toiletries are a detail we put real thought into. Your note about the room fragrance is fair, and we have since pulled the air freshener from the house entirely so the next guests walk in without that hit. Come back in the spring when the wildflowers are out along the drive.

Even though there was a little confusion regarding the insurance deposit, STHG helped clarify the situation and was more than accommodating in ensuring our stay went as planned. The location was perfect commuting distance to all local wineries, restaurants, and shopping. The rental was clean and smelled amazing inside! Will visit again!

Chris, that the house smelled amazing when you walked in is exactly what we aim for, so hearing that means a lot. The insurance deposit question threw a wrench in things before you even arrived, and I'm glad we got it sorted quickly enough that it didn't cut into your winery time. The Hill Country wine trail is right there waiting whenever you're ready to come back, and spring is a great time to catch the wildflowers along the way.

Deborah, a quiet and clean Hill Country getaway is exactly what this property is built for, and it sounds like it delivered. The internet signal in these cedar hills can be inconsistent, and we have a signal booster going in at the house this month to shore that up for future guests. When you come back, the bluebonnets along the resort roads in spring are worth timing a trip around!

Glen, quick access to town while still having that Hill Country breathing room around you is exactly what this property is built for. Glad you had everything you needed and then some. When you come back, try timing it around one of the local festivals in Fredericksburg or Wimberley depending on the season. There is always something worth building a trip around, and the house makes a great home base for it.
