Unwind in the bright and inviting sunroom, which features a comfortable futon, perfect for an afternoon nap or reading a book. Step outside to your private porch, where you can relax in the hot tub, fire up the BBQ grill, or enjoy the warmth of the chimenea. Whether sipping your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, the front porch seating creates the ideal space for quiet moments amidst nature. This cozy yet luxurious getaway is perfect for a peaceful and memorable stay near Fredericksburg.

Please note Sonora Casita and Casa Grande are on the same property in close proximity so there may be other guests on the premises during your stay.

The Nandina Cottage is part of The Willows, a distinctive property that can be rented as individual units or as a whole. The Willows is perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, or weekend getaways with friends.

Great place to stay just off of main street!

Victoria, you spotted the best part of that house: park once and you can walk into town for the shops, the tasting rooms and dinner without ever getting back in the car. Glad it worked out that easy for you. Next visit, give yourself a slow morning on the porch with coffee before you head out, then take a swing through the resort side. The pool and fire pit stay quiet on weekday evenings, and if you can line your trip up with live music in town, do it. Come see us again. Very nice, quiet place to stay. Well appointed — had everything you need. Peaceful places to sit and relax, have a glass of wine and read a book or enjoy the hot tub. Easy to get to area attractions. I’d definitely stay here again!

What a lovely place. Came for my girlfriend and I’s anniversary and they had a bottle of wine for us. The bed was so comfy and the sun room was so cool. Hot tub was fantastic and private. Would stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay in Fredericksburg. The house was very clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Management was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a great place. Far enough away from Main Street to avoid the noise and traffic, but close enough for quick trips. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great!

Nicholas, that comfortable bed and the Hill Country setting are two things we put real thought into, so a perfect ten means a lot. We caught your private note about the shower bathmat and the missing bedside outlet. A proper shower curtain is going in, and we are adding an outlet solution to that nightstand so both sides of the bed are covered. Come back when the wildflowers are up out here, the location hits differently in spring.

The cottage was very quiet and very homey feeling. The bedroom is not separated from the other parts of the home except by arch doorways (no actual doors). I would consider it more of a studio than a one bedroom. It was just my husband and I so it didn't matter to us, but thought it was worth mentioning to others.

April, the quiet and homey feel you described is exactly what we designed that cottage to be, and it's good to hear it landed that way for a couples trip. You did right by future guests pointing out the open arch layout. It is genuinely more studio-style in how the sleeping area flows, and the more clearly that's understood before booking, the better the fit for whoever comes next. If you and your husband find yourselves back in the Hill Country, the screened porch in the evening is worth building a night around.

Chase, a couples getaway right by Main Street is just about the perfect use of that house, and it sounds like you two found your rhythm with it. The hot tub overlooking the Hill Country at night is hard to beat, and we're glad it delivered. Next time you're back, ask us about the best evening to catch live music within walking distance. Wes, glad the location worked out so well for you and your partner with Fredericksburg right there at your fingertips. A ten means a lot coming from someone who noticed the details. On our end, the coffee mugs and the bathroom are getting a closer look on every clean now, the bathroom sundries are being moved out of sight, and a proper cookie sheet is going in the kitchen this week. The shower situation is on our radar too. Come back in the spring when the wildflowers are out along those Hill Country roads. That drive is worth the trip on its own.

Dylan, a 10 out of 10 and a shoutout to easy communication, that combination genuinely means a lot. Running a house out in the Hill Country means guests sometimes have questions at odd hours, and knowing that side of things felt smooth makes the whole stay better. Come back when the wildflowers are running and you will see this part of Texas in a completely different light.
