This property is ideal for a family, couples, intimate weekend getaways, retreats, and special occasions such as anniversaries or birthdays. We look forward to you immersing yourself into this property's stunning hill country and hilltop views, gorgeous oak trees, abundant wildlife and scenery, beautiful night sky, and stars!

Oak Cottage features a luxury farmhouse kitchen, a cozy living room with a Smart-TV, and two king suites, each harboring private full baths. The cottage also has a great outdoor deck and patio, perfect for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine or cocktail.

This rental only includes Oak Cottage for up to 4 individuals. On the same property is Elm Cottage. This is an additional private cottage that may or may not be rented during your rental of Oak Cottage. Elm Cottage is for only two individuals. Elm Cottage is not included in your rental of Oak Cottage. We ask you to treat any potential guests of Elm Cottage with respect and kindness.

Property was beautiful. We were able to see deer every day wandering the area. The cabin and rooms were actually a little larger than I expected based on the photos. Great back porch and enough kitchen space for a weekend away (we didn't cook but did bring pizza back one night).Only real issue was the property address wasn't correct in the app and Google didn't know what to do with it. When trying to locate it for check in, Google Maps sent us 3 miles away into the completely wrong address blocks. For example, (this is not the actual address) if the address was 7824, Google maps sent us to 2647 instead of the 7000's. Once we got into the correct address blocks by identifying the direction the numbers were going, it was very clearly marked and easy to find.We had another issue (totally our fault - not the property's) and for both scenarios - one at 4pm and the other at nearly 11pm - their customer service system was available and helpful.

We had a great stay here! About a 15-20 minute drive into town which was manageable, close to some wineries too. It was a peaceful trip and would stay at this location again.

Those Hill Country views have a way of making everything else feel slower and quieter, and it sounds like the house delivered on all of it. Come back in bluebonnet season if you get the chance, the drive in through the Hill Country is something else entirely that time of year!

Jim, those evenings watching the deer is exactly what the Hill Country is all about, and it sounds like the house delivered every bit of that quiet and room to breathe. Sherman, that back porch is one of our favorite spots on the whole property, and it sounds like you found exactly why. Glad the location worked out for trade days and a trip out to the Bat Tunnel too, those are two of the best reasons to be in this part of the Hill Country. This cabin was exactly what they said it would be-cozy! The location is perfect if you are looking for a wine country getaway. Also not too far from downtown Fredricksburg! Loved all of the outdoor living space and the seclusion of the property.

Amber, the outdoor living space and that feeling of being tucked away from everything is exactly what we had in mind when we put this property together. Wine country is right at your doorstep and Fredericksburg is close enough for a good dinner without giving up any of the quiet. Glad it delivered on both. When you come back, plan an evening on that porch after a day on the wine trail. It hits different when you have nowhere to be.
