We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Fredericksburg. The location is exactly as advertised — a short, easy walk to Main Street that I happily made every single day. For a smaller one-bedroom, the space is used beautifully: well furnished inside and out, yet it never once felt crowded. It struck the perfect balance of having everything you need while still feeling open and comfortable. The home was spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout, and the AC handled those hot Texas days without missing a beat. Our host, Stay Texas Hospitality Group, kept things easy and hands-off — check-in was smooth and we had everything we needed. If you want a comfortable, well-appointed home base within walking distance of everything Fredericksburg has to offer, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Things with the property were good and host was very responsive. It was a little far from Main Street, but it was not an issue. Price was a little high for the distance from town and surrounding amenities. It was a good stay for my wife and I.

Ryan, glad you and your wife had a good stay and that the communication side of things worked smoothly. The hill country setting does put the house a little outside of town, and that tradeoff is real. What it buys you is quiet, open sky, and room to breathe in a way Main Street properties just cannot deliver. Next time you come out, the resort amenities are worth building a slower morning around before you head into town. Hope you and your wife make it back this way soon!

The location was great as well as the home. I just wish the check in was earlier, a 4 pm check in is late for fredricksburg since most of the restaurants and attractions are closed early. The check out time was 11 which is understandable, most hotels have an 11 am check out time. If I wanted to check in earlier charges would be placed.

Charles, a 10 from you after navigating a 4 pm check-in around Fredericksburg's early hours means a lot. That timing tension is real, and you named it well. We are moving to a 2 pm standard check-in across the house and working through the turnover schedule to make it stick without a fee attached. Next time you come out this way, the Hill Country wineries along the corridor keep later hours than most of town and pair well with an afternoon arrival. Hope we get another shot at hosting you right.

Erik, your family bringing the whole crew out to the Hill Country and leaving happy is exactly what this place is built for. Glad the location worked so well for getting around the area. You feel like you belong at Orange St house. It has a familiar and cozy vibe that makes it easy to call it your own for a few days. I enjoyed staying in a local neighborhood just a touch off Main Street and was not inconvenienced by the time taken to get to restaurants or shops. I would try to stay in this home again when visiting Fredericksburg.

Knowing you felt at home from the moment you settled in, and that the walk to Main Street fit right into your days without any hassle, means we got that balance right. We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was the perfect distance from everything and we felt right at home. The house is comfortable for 3 ppl with no issues. Would def stay here again.

Araceli, a girls weekend is exactly the kind of trip this house was set up for, so hearing that the three of you felt right at home means a lot. You should not have had to work around dead outlets and a wifi network you could never find. An electrician is going through every outlet in the house this month, and the router is being replaced with the network name and password posted on the kitchen counter. Full length mirrors are going in the two bedrooms as well. Come back and enjoy it the way it should have worked the first time. The house was really nice. It was cozy the perfect size for me and my wife for the weekend of our wedding. It is really close to down town. Everything was within a 5 min drive. It has 1 bedroom so it would be a little small for a family or group of friends but I would highly recommend this place for any couple looking for a weekend getaway.

Our family of four enjoyed staying at this well appointed house and had a great time visiting Fredericksburg. All rooms were kept neat and clean and well organized. Access to downtown was easy and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely want to stay here again the next time we visit Fredericksburg. Checkout The Kuckuck's Nest a bit further north on Hwy 16 for authentic German goods!
