The home is beautiful inside and out. The home was lit up upon arrival, which gave it a very warm welcome.. Loved the personalized welcome note. The home was very clean and very nicely decorated. Wonderful and spacious home, well decorated and clean. Close to downtown, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen had plenty of accessories and lots of towels in the bathrooms. Belinda, hearing that the beds got a callout means a lot, we spent real money on those mattresses. Your notes were useful too: more kitchen towels and hangers are going in this week, cups and tissues are being added to the bathroom stock, and the cracked Adirondack chairs are being replaced rather than patched. Seating for six is the harder one, and we are working out a proper dining setup so a full group can eat together. Come back when the weather turns, October in town is the good stuff, and you can walk to every bit of it from the house. That kitchen was built for exactly what you all are doing with it, and I am glad the beds are holding up their end too. You also mentioned the run of emails and texts before arrival, and you are right that it is too much. We have trimmed the pre-arrival sequence down to the essentials: directions, door code, and one check-in note. When you are back, take an evening on the porch with the grill going. The house was in a great location, just a few blocks off Main Street. There were 6 adults, so the house was perfect for our group. It was well taken care of, very clean, updated and the layout ideal. The master is a good size with a king bed that is comfortable. It has an en-suite bathroom with a large soaking tub, walk-in shower, water closet (toilet) and huge walk-in closet. The second bedroom has 2 queen size beds, a sitting area and closes with a beautiful barn door. There was so much space it wasn’t crowded at all with 2 beds in it! The third bedroom was the smallest but still larger than most hotel rooms. Between the bedrooms was the second full bathroom. It was a standard size but, since there was a half-bath, it worked out fine. In addition, the apartment in the back has a very large full bathroom available to get ready in too! I can't say enough good things about this rental. It is so beautifully remodeled and so, so comfortable to sleep and hang out. Perfect place for a girls wine get-away trip. House was very cute. Took a girls trip. There were 6 of us and we had more than enough room. Only thing that we didn’t have was a dining room but we sat around the large island and in the living room for dinner. Not a big issue for us, but, for a large family wanting to sit around a table to eat, it is not an option. Would stay here again. Beds were very comfortable. The detached game room in the backyard was very nice. Wished it could have been an extra bedroom instead, but I certainly understood why. Will, those recent updates landed exactly the way we hoped, and it means a lot to hear the finishes and design felt worth every dollar. The house is one we are genuinely proud of. A few things on our end still need tightening up, and your private notes pointed us right to them. The slow sink drain is cleared, the rocker switches have been tested and the faulty ones replaced, and clear step-by-step Nest instructions are now posted at the thermostat. Lindsey, six people, one fire pit and a short walk into downtown sounds like the trip that house was built for. Glad the new coffee maker got there fast, that one is on us to catch before you ever notice. You also asked about early check in on Wednesday and never got an answer either way, which is not right. We now confirm yes or no on every early arrival request within a day of it coming in, so you know before you pack the car. This was our second time to stay in this beautiful home, and if we return to Fredericksburg, we will definitely stay there again. The home is beautiful--the pictures are a very accurate representation, and there was plenty of room for our family of five to relax, unwind, and enjoy family time together. The beds were very comfortable, and there are lots of amenities like plenty of towels, condiments in the kitchen, etc. We enjoyed playing family poker in the game room while watching streaming services on the provided TV. Cozi was proactive and made sure that we had all of the information that we needed. I messaged them when we arrived to let them know there was a minor problem with a curtain (not even really a problem -- it was wobbly, and since it was in the kids' room, I wanted to let them know in case it became a problem during our stay) and they replied back quickly, offering us the choice of having it repaired right away or after our stay.
