Description

You will feel at home from the time you walk through the door at Our Happy Place! There is plenty of room for everyone to gather in the living room on the large comfortable sectional sofa for a fun game or movie night. For the chef in the group the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a delicious meal or just a few snacks to enjoy. Each bedroom is sure to provide a restful night’s sleep; the cozy master bedroom has a comfortable king bed and its own en-suite bathroom. Bedrooms 2 and 4 each have a Queen size bed and Bedroom 3 is a great place for kids or adults with its twin over full bunk bed. Smart TV’s are provided in the living room, master bedroom and bedrooms two and four and High speed internet is also available. Guests also have access to a washer and dryer during their stay.
Spend your time at Louise Hays Park which is only 2.7 miles away or take a day trip to the wineries in Fredericksburg. Then after a long day of exploring the Hill Country come relax in the large fenced backyard where the kids can run around or have fun on the playscape. Everyone will love relaxing around the firepit so don’t forget to pick up the supplies for making S’mores.
Our Happy Place is the perfect spot to make new memories from the fenced backyard to entertain kids, family, or friends to enjoying a glass of wine from the cozy front porch.

Great Stay all one level and spacious garage where we stored our e-bikes. Loved biking at the park! Beautiful along the water. Very nice patio out back with a fan for hot weather and nice gas grill. Had a great stay with my senior parents and brought my little doggy. Nice that the backyard was completely fenced in and she could sniff to her hearts content! We drive all over hill country and this was well located. My local relatives were able to come over to visit in the evenings and plenty of room.

It was a cozy vibe. The photos are different. We were expecting a fun swing set for the kids (it’s not what it shows online) there are signs stating “play at your own risk” and it seems dangerous to have it up. The shouldn’t advertise it in the photos the way they do because it’s not like that anymore — Many things have broken on the swing set and in my option I’d replace it or take it down/not advertise it. The yard was quite overgrown and knowing you have people staying I wouldn’t made sure it was mowed. The overall area was nice. Things appeared to be clean, family friendly, and a nice neighborhood. FYI there is only ONE remote for all indoor tv’s. The outside TV doesn’t work. Although, the staff is very responsive and tries their best to accommodate any situation you’ve just got to call. I couldn’t AirPlay my phone to the tvs either and it shows that in a binder they have right when you walk in. I would try to fix the remote issue because there are SO many… One in every bedroom but you can ONLY watch it in the living room — That was irritating especially since the AirPlay didn’t work even on the Wi-Fi. Only in the living room. Besides that, everything was great. We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was secure. Very close to town which was a plus. We enjoyed our time.

Great place. Plenty of room for 4 guys. We had a small issue with the wifi but we reached out well into the evening of our first night and they responded and resolved quickly. Plenty of restaurants and and HEB within 10 min. We already talked about booking this exact house again if it's available next time we are in Kerrville.

Great space for families, especially with kids. We went there with our kids and our parents and had a multi-generational mini-vacation. The beds are a little high, especially if you’re short, but there are step stools.

The property is even cuter than the pictures show, and the price is right. Located in a quiet, residential area that's close the the main arteries in Kerrville. The beds are really comfy, check in and check out procedures were easy and seamless, and the place has everything you need to feel right at home. We took advantage of the fire pit and enjoyed conversation outside during a chilly evening. Highly recommend for anyone, whether it be a family or group of friends or even a romantic getaway for couples - it's just so cozy!
