We loved our stay at this cute little house. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The sound machine at night took care of any sounds from the nearby street. The PBC worked out well for our 6 night stay in Fredericksburg. The cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space as well. I will say the hinges on the door between living room and bedroom need to be oiled as the late night squeak is loud in the silence of the night but other than that the house was very nice. Jenna, "perfect location" is exactly how we would describe it too. The Hill Country has a way of putting you right where you want to be, and that house sits in a spot that earns those words. Glad it felt like the right fit. Next time you're out this way, come during wildflower season if you can manage it. Great place to stay! Walking distance to main street was super handy. Perfect cozy place for our small family (2 toddlers), or would be great for a couple. Pullout couch was decent. The kitchen is small with just two barstools, but worked fine for coffee/breakfast. Ellen, two toddlers and a walkable main street is a combination that can make or break a family trip, and it sounds like the location did exactly what it needed to. That check-in hiccup is real feedback worth acting on. We are currently trimming the pre-arrival steps down so the code is front and center before anyone pulls into the driveway. The house was adorable and there was so much attention to detail, especially in the backyard! It was perfect! The only complaint I have is the location on the busy street and all of the street noise all night long. This quaint cottage is reminiscent of a true "Sunday Haus". We were welcomed to a charming front porch (with a porch swing and gas lantern), decorated for fall with pumpkins. The cottage was very clean! We loved the special touches like the Charcuterie box and fresh bag of Starbuck's coffee. The space is private, but as mentioned in previous reviews, it is on a fairly busy road; however, there is a sound machine provided. We enjoyed the backyard, relaxing on the day bed swing. I loved absolutely everything about this property. It was perfect for a weekend getaway, and so close to Main street, incredible restaurants, and Enchanted Rock. The "She Shed" was a fun touch to this gorgeous property. Check-in and out were seamless (despite my not reviewing instructions prior).
