Iretta, hearing that the house felt both beautiful and comfortable is the best thing you can tell us, because comfortable is the harder half. We put real thought into the beds, the seating and the light coming through those big windows, so it is good to know it landed. Next time you are out this way, give yourself a slow morning on the porch with coffee before the day gets hot, and take a walk down to the water while the deer are still out. I had a wonderful stay here! I came for my birthday celebration with friends. The bed in master bedroom could be larger, but the restroom is large. Nice open space in the living room area. The hot tub is a nice touch. The property is beautiful for photos but be aware of frogs and other critters on the porch. Bring more towels, if you have a large group. Check-in instructions are clear.

Beautiful and private property. Some of my friends and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and it was very spacious in the living room for hanging out. A couple things I will point out, the floors are very dirty so be sure to pack socks or wear shoes the whole time, the front door doesn’t latch all the way unless you push on it, there’s no AC in the bunk bed room, and you will be handwashing dishes the whole trip. Definitely be very careful with the door most of all because my friends and I took a trip to main street and came back to the front door wide open—yet still locked. The wind blew it open and we were lucky that nobody seemed to notice because it is in such a private spot, still gave us a little scare. However, I rate this place five stars because the hot-tub was amazing, each room comes with an extra fan (absolute best addition) and it is so spacious for having game nights with a couple friends. I would definitely consider booking again if we went back to Fredericksburg.

Daviana, your family spending that time outdoors in the Hill Country is exactly what this property is built for. Glad it delivered. One thing worth knowing for anyone reading: the backyard is a shared space between two homes on the property, and we are updating the listing now to say that clearly before guests book. Daviana, if a return trip is in the cards, the river access in spring is something else entirely. Hope we get to host your family again.

Hands down one of the best airbnbs that we’ve stayed at. The place is so beautiful and peaceful, it feels far away but its only around 5 min from main street. It had everything we needed and more, from enough toilet paper for my whole family to all the kitchen utensils we needed, place is super cozy and clean, we saw deer and cows, it was truly a dream to drink coffee in their backyard swing, if you’re thinking about staying here just do it, you wont regret it, and the customer service is amazing as well!

Deborah, that backyard swing with your morning coffee is exactly what we had in mind when we set this place up, so hearing it landed that way for you genuinely made our day. Deer and cows showing up on cue is just the Hill Country doing its thing. Glad the kitchen had everything your family needed and that the location worked out, close enough to town but quiet enough to actually feel away from it all. Come back in the spring when the wildflowers are out along the property and that swing view gets even better!

Marsella, a 10 out of 10 with a side note about feeling watched through the living room windows is exactly the kind of honest detail we love hearing. We are adding window treatments to that space so the next guest gets the view without the fishbowl feeling, and we are rounding out the dish and plate selection too. When you come back for another Hill Country trip, that front living room is going to feel like a whole different room to settle into!

Celebrated my birthday there this past weekend and we all loved it! Very nice, clean and well equipped. Easy getting in and out of the house and in a close proximity to the vineyards and town area of Fredericksburg. Highly recommend this place!

The place is nice and cozy, location is very close to Main Street. The only thing we didn’t expected is when you get in from the code door it lead straight to one of the bedrooms. Other than that we love this place and the hot tub amazing!

This is a large home with plenty of room. Our family of 7 (3 couples and my adult son) had a great time. The bedroom with the bunk beds was way too warm to use even with a fan in late June in Texas. The living area was comfortable. The 3 queen beds were as well. We especially enjoyed the back porch and hot tub. The property is secluded but only a few short minutes from shops, restaurants and wineries. We enjoyed seeing birds, deer and even a coyote.
