This two-bedroom cabin is ideal for a small family to stay while exploring Enchanted Rock State Natural Area or taking advantage of all that Fredericksburg offers. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed to provide a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower and rustic vanity. The cabin has a full kitchen for those who want to bring groceries and cook meals.

Fresh air and gorgeous views abound from the rocking chairs on the porch and make the perfect place to watch a sunrise or the sun setting in the evening. Rocky Ridge Cabin awaits your visit book your getaway today!

-There are two other cabins on the property.
- You may notice a sulfur-like odor at times due to the property's septic system.
-Wood for shared firepit is not provided
-Charcoal is not provided

Such a great stay! We definitely will be returning. The hosts were very kind, accommodating and helpful, the home was well kept and clean. It has beautiful views from the porch. The house stayed very cool, even in the heat of the summer. Definitely recommend for your next stay! If you’re traveling with a pack and play or kids, keep in mind that the rooms are smaller and there is no ceiling between the rooms so noise travels easily in the home. We had to be a little flexible because of that but overall, it was such a great stay. Would definitely recommend staying here for your next trip. Thank you to the host for your hospitality!

Cabin is located a little north of Fredericksburg, which is a really nice area, the surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wildlife and animals to see each time you come in and out. It's also secluded and gives a lot of privacy to enjoy your time. The cabin itself is nice, just be prepared if you come in the summer for it to be warm inside when you get there. There is a mini split AC to cool the whole cabin, so bring a fan to help circulation if you run hot. The only real complaint was the flat pillows on the beds, so we brought our own.All in all it's a great little cabin to stay in while you see the sights all around the hill country and would definitely consider staying again.

The location and layout was perfect. It was close enough to town to make a run back for dinner and groceries but far enough to give a scenic view with lots of animals along the way. We watched the sun set from the hot tub and then viewed the stars on the front lawn. The next morning we watched the sunrise on the porch rocking chairs.

Such a cute cabin for a weekend getaway. Super close to enchanted rock and close to town without feeling close.

Madeline, that balance you described, close to Enchanted Rock but still feeling tucked away, is exactly what we had in mind with this place. Glad the weekend delivered. If you make it back out this way, Enchanted Rock at sunrise before the crowds arrive is something else entirely, and the cabin puts you close enough to pull it off without an early alarm ruining the trip.

When you come back, try timing a visit for bluebonnet season, the property looks entirely different when the roadsides and meadows fill in with color, and it is worth planning around.

Regena, Enchanted Rock right down the road and a charming cabin to come back to at the end of the day is just about the ideal Hill Country setup. Took my kids to visit the Enchanted Rock and this cabin was the perfect location, just 14 minutes away. The stars at night at the cabin were amazing, sitting in the hot tub while watching was perfect. Lots of wildlife to enjoy also.
