We visited Fredericksburg for my mom’s 75th birthday and we absolutely loved this home. Located right in the middle of Main Street in the old bank building, this beautiful, historic home was an absolute gem! Plenty of space for all 6 of us. We sat outside on the balcony in the mornings and enjoyed coffee, and sat inside at night and played games while still enjoying an amazing view. The only thing I would say is, the stairs are a bit steep, so getting luggage up and down, especially for my 75 year old mom, was a little scary. We were able to meet one of the property owners and he let us know that they are installing an elevator, which will be nice. 10 out of 10!!! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Fredericksburg's shops and restaurants. Extremely well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable 4- or 5-night stay. The apartment is well insulated as we heard little outside noise despite being over busy Main Street. The large rooftop patio area was really fun for relaxing or crowd watching (It might be too hot during the summer, but perfect on a cool spring afternoon). We look forward to staying here again in the future!

This was my favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed in (and as a family of five, we stay in a lot of Airbnbs)! The location on Main Street is amazing--we walked to so many restaurants, shops, and museums. The decor was luxurious yet so inviting and comfortable. The history of the space was fascinating, and books and old photos helped tell the story. We spent lovely evenings on the deck watching the sunset. We stayed here with my parents so we rented both suites. It was perfect for each family to have their very own space. I'm telling everyone I know who lives in Texas about this place--truly my favorite Airbnb ever!

The Bank on Main was perfect for our trip to Fredericksburg. The location was perfect, the amenities nice and comfortable and the building history was interesting. The entire unit was cozy we really enjoyed it as a home base during our visit. A few places we enjoyed - Java Ranch for coffee and light breakfast, Clear River for lunch, Otto’s for dinner and Martini’s for seafood. Additionally- We had a great time at the Elk Store Winery and Distillery one evening! We will definitely be back and hope to be able to visit the Bank again. Lastly - parking is ambiguous at first, it would be helpful to include a picture before arrival. This caused a bit of a delay in finding the place but was quickly resolved.

Exceeded expectations with location and overall beauty/decor of the property. It has only been open as an Airbnb a couple months and everything is still immaculate. The store downstairs is only open 10am-6pm so area was very quiet by the time we got home from dinner. Tons of shopping and restaurants walking distance down Main St. The parking spot in back alley is labeled for the bank, so that was initially confusing but property manager responded immediately to my questions as we arrived. One of the girls in my group had stayed many places in Fredricksburg and this was by far her favorite!

The pictures did not do this beautiful space justice! Everything about it was perfect! The furniture in the house matched the area and the aesthetic of the home. It had a luxurious charm in the best location. Totally recommend and would to stay there again.
