We had a great stay! The place was clean, cute, and exactly as pictured. It was perfect for a couples getaway and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The only downside was that the bathroom didn’t have heating or AC (and we were there during the big temperature swing), but a small fan or space heater could easily help address that. Kelsey, a couples getaway is exactly what that house was set up for, so hearing it matched the photos and gave you a relaxing few days means a lot. You're right about the bathroom, though. It sits off the main run of the HVAC and during that temperature swing there was nothing to take the edge off. We've put a small space heater and a fan in the house so the next guests aren't stuck with it. Come back in spring when the wildflowers are up along the resort roads, it's a good season for slow mornings and coffee outside. Craig, the location is the reason we bought into this pocket of the Hill Country in the first place, so it is good to hear it landed the same way for you. You are close to the wineries, the river crossings, and a decent taco in under fifteen minutes, and most folks do not realize how much sits within that radius until they are here. Next time, take a morning and drive out to the state park before the day heats up, then come back and put your feet up on the porch. The house will be ready for you. My best friend and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway and it was great! It was walking distance from all the shops on Main St and a short drive to other attractions. It was nice having a designated parking spot and check in was very easy. It was the perfect size for two people and had everything we needed. You can hear noise from the bar but if you go in knowing that, it's really not bothersome at all. We had such a good time in Fredericksburg! The cottage was located right on Main Street, but conveniently tucked away from the noise of the Main Street. It was spotless and very cute. We had a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg with friends. We all stayed at different places but they all saw our rental and loved it saying they would all book it next time. It was better that described. Clean and so conveniently located. We parked the car upon on arrival and didn't move it until check out. We stayed in this cabin for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it gives off the perfect cozy and welcoming vibe for a couple's getaway. We loved that it was on one end of Main Street because we could literally walk back and forth to the shops, bars and eateries. It has all the proper amenities needed to unwind and relax together. The only potential negatives I saw is that there was a bar a couple of properties down that played louder music until about 11, but we didn't hear it too much and it did not bother us. Also, we wish there was a tub in the bathroom to increase the relaxation factor, but we did enjoy the provision of the robes and other toiletries. Overall, this is exactly what we needed to enjoy our anniversary weekend together. These cabins are fairly new and ours was super clean. Convenient parking. The location is perfect - one building off the main drag so it's quiet but close to everything. The Main Street strip is about a mile long and this property is at the eastern end of it. Most of the shops, etc. seems to be on the eastern end so you're easy walking distance to everything. The cabin is bigger than the pictures suggest - plenty of room for two. AC blows tons of cold air but is not at all noisy. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom had plush towels. Will definitely stay here again. Excellent location. Cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. Heater is a little difficult to figure out, I would suggest they leave a card with instructions as they did for the TV. Internet worked well first two days but was hit and miss day 3.
