My best friend and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway and it was great! It was walking distance from all the shops on Main St and a short drive to other attractions. It was nice having a designated parking spot and check in was very easy. It was the perfect size for two people and had everything we needed. You can hear noise from the bar but if you go in knowing that, it's really not bothersome at all. Avery, two friends walking to the shops and back with nothing to figure out is exactly how that place is meant to work, so I'm glad it landed that way. You're right about the bar noise, and I appreciate you saying it plainly instead of sugarcoating it. Folks who know it's there tend to enjoy the block more, not less. Next time, come on a Saturday morning and hit the market before the crowds, then take the short drive out to the tasting rooms in the afternoon. Y'all are welcome back anytime. We had an amazing time celebrating our 20 year anniversary. Our cabin was so cute and had all the amenities. The location was absolutely perfect with walking distance to Absolutley everything!! Lauren, walking out the front door straight onto Main Street is one of our favorite things about that house, and it sounds like you made the most of it. The way the property is decorated was put together with exactly that cozy Hill Country feel in mind, so hearing it landed right means a lot. Emma, a ten out of ten with a midnight soundtrack from next door says a lot about how much you enjoyed the house itself. That main street location puts you right in the middle of everything Fredericksburg has going, and it sounds like that energy was exactly what you were after. We had such a good time in Fredericksburg! The cottage was located right on Main Street, but conveniently tucked away from the noise of the Main Street. It was spotless and very cute. We had a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg with friends. We all stayed at different places but they all saw our rental and loved it saying they would all book it next time. It was better that described. Clean and so conveniently located. We parked the car upon on arrival and didn't move it until check out. We stayed in this cabin for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it gives off the perfect cozy and welcoming vibe for a couple's getaway. We loved that it was on one end of Main Street because we could literally walk back and forth to the shops, bars and eateries. It has all the proper amenities needed to unwind and relax together. The only potential negatives I saw is that there was a bar a couple of properties down that played louder music until about 11, but we didn't hear it too much and it did not bother us. Also, we wish there was a tub in the bathroom to increase the relaxation factor, but we did enjoy the provision of the robes and other toiletries. Overall, this is exactly what we needed to enjoy our anniversary weekend together. These cabins are fairly new and ours was super clean. Convenient parking. The location is perfect - one building off the main drag so it's quiet but close to everything. The Main Street strip is about a mile long and this property is at the eastern end of it. Most of the shops, etc. seems to be on the eastern end so you're easy walking distance to everything. The cabin is bigger than the pictures suggest - plenty of room for two. AC blows tons of cold air but is not at all noisy. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom had plush towels. Will definitely stay here again. Excellent location. Cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. Heater is a little difficult to figure out, I would suggest they leave a card with instructions as they did for the TV. Internet worked well first two days but was hit and miss day 3.
