Perfect place for a couples trip. Everyone had their own space, walkable to our favorite shops and restaurants, quiet at night. The wine cellar is such a unique touch that allowed for conversations late into the evening. Highly recommend!

Very cute property! Pix don’t do it justice! Lots of space! The wine cellar is very neat - truly a cellar with comfy chairs and a great place to sit and visit! Would recommend! Landscape neat and well cared for property-!

This is a very unique house and was perfect for our group. We are a group of 7 women who have been friends for 35 years, and we try to go somewhere once a year. This house was a great find! All of the bedrooms are good sized with places to put luggage out of the way. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are bright with pretty fixtures, but the master shower head was a little small with low pressure. The kitchen has everything that you need to cook a meal. We used the small table and coffee bar to put groceries and to make a bar which left all the countertops open in the kitchen to prep and cook. The table was big enough for everyone and was great for dinner and games. We didn’t hang out in the wine cellar - it has a bit of a musty smell. But it’s a cool, unique space. The porches are awesome and we sat outside each morning with coffee after a walk downtown. The location was great for us. It’s not in the heart of downtown but a nice 10 - 15 minute walk to get to the other end of Main Street (think Fredericksburg Brewery and Pasta Bella). So it was quiet and in a great spot. The only negatives- we had a hard time getting in because the code didn’t work, but that was also a positive because it was fixed quickly. We were also disappointed that we didn’t know there was a fire pit outside because we would have brought wood and sat outside in the perfect weather. We enjoyed the house so much that some of the women may rent it for their families this year. We will be back!

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Cozi Vacation Rentals was very easy to work with and extremely responsive and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and it has 3 bathrooms that are easily shared with a group since 2 are located off the main hallway. The underground wine room was very unique and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The location is conveniently located in walking distance of all the shopping on main and the wine tour we booked picked us up at the house so we did not have to drive anywhere! Highly recommend!

The house is charming with lots of natural light throughout the day, original (probably) wood floors, high ceilings, and a unique (and kind of cool) stone interior hallway. Plenty of space in the kitchen, at the large dining table, and in the well appointed living room. The bedrooms are all nice, and the bathrooms are sleek and decently sized. The location is great because it's 1 street back from Main St. and at the northwest end, so you get a nice mix of quiet and convenience. Of the 4 bedrooms, only the front bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and the front bedroom is also the room with the highest amount of street noise compared to the other bedrooms. So when a Texan who felt the need to get a truck that sits 12 feet off the ground and sounds like a combination of a jet engine and a combine rolls by, that's the bedroom where you'll definitely hear it. However, it wasn't really an issue because of the large floor fan provided in the room. But light sleepers may want to avoid that room. Also pro tip, the house is 1 block from Caliche, which has easily the best caffeinated beverages in town, the best music, tasty breakfast dishes that come out QUICK, and a very friendly staff. We're picky and we would definitely book this house again. Cheers.

We loved this beautiful house!! Everything from the location, to the rugs! Beautiful home with exquisite touches, such as quality bedding, beautiful rugs, incredible showers and the wine cellar is a beautiful surprise! We will definitely be back! We had a mother/daughter weekend! It was perfect. The house is nice and clean and walkable to downtown shops! The street noise was a little loud so if you are a light sleeper, bring a fan or noise machine to help drown that out. We will definitely book here again! Loved our stay

This place is incredible the attention to detail is amazing. My husband is huge on the water pressure in the shower being good and there were no complaints From him! We Loved the location just one block from Main Street! The home was just like new and very clean. street was nice and quiet. Highly recommend

Our family of 6 stayed here. It was the perfect size and had great amenities for us. It was a little bit of a walk to get to the main part of Main Street for our little ones, but it was still pretty easy and kind of nice to work off all the great food in Fredricksburg! We would stay here again for sure.

The Homestead is a beautiful home! It suited our needs with four bedrooms and several gathering areas. The wine cellar was such a treat! It’s location is, roughly, a fifteen minute walk to the “happening” part of Main St. We absolutely loved staying here!

There were six of us ladies . . . friends for over 30 years. The Homestead was a perfect home for us - enough beds and baths, plus rooms to gather . . . or be alone! Everything was fresh and new! Great location - easy to get in & out of town. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable bedding, kitchen was well-stocked (except for only 5 dinner forks), happy to have extra trash bags and dishwasher detergent provided, nice big rooms and great places to gather; We had awesome weather so could even take advantage of outdoor patio table & chairs (but not the fire pit), a basketful of throws had weather been colder. Bedrooms with storage & hangers. Be advised that because of the great location, early morning traffic sounds are unavoidable. Some suggestions from our group: kitchen towels, serving spoons, toaster, reference on website that coffee maker is not Keurig, showers are slick so floor strips/grab bar?, washcloths, clearer instruction on thermostat operation. Don't know what to call it but there is an electronic screen in the dining area with info, etc. Very highly recommend and hope to stay here again someday.

It's difficult to find a VRBO in Fredericksburg that as more than 2 full bathrooms but it is extremely valuable when you are sharing a vacation place with others. This home has 3 full beautiful bathrooms plus 4 bedrooms. We each had our own bedroom and only 2 of us had to share the 3rd Full Bathroom. Perfection!
