Melissa, the location is the thing we hear about most, and it is good to know the house lived up to it for you. Folks tend to settle in on the porch the first evening and never quite leave. Next time you are down this way, get out early and take the trail loop before the heat sets in, then come back for coffee outside while it is still quiet. That is the resort at its best, and we would be glad to have you back for it. We keep 10% off for guests who come back to us, so that is there for you next time. We had a wonderful time, the house was very clean and comfortable. We rented this because my friend has in a wheelchair. It would have been nice if the backyard was ADA compliant. Our friend who was in the wheelchair could not go in the back yard. Which meant we could not fully enjoy the hot tub, fire pit our outdoors at all. Really lovely stay in Fredericksburg. Great house, comfortable beds, great location, relaxing hot tub! The thing that is annoying about the host (a Hospitality Group) -is that they add an additional fee that is outside the parameters of AirBnB. In this case, they charge either a fee for a security deposit (around $50) or they take a $1000 security deposit beyond the posted amount. The point of AirBnB is that it does all of those things within the fee it shows you. This added layer of providing guest ID information and extra fees is a real bummer and is not the AirBnB ethic. I suggest to Texas Hospitality Group that they don't list on AirBnB if they don't feel that the company provides ample insurance coverage. Otherwise, it is simply a sneaky, added set of steps and fees. I've used AirBnB for nearly 15 years - this is not a normal way of doing business through the site.Anonymous - Posted: 2/9/2026
Anna, hearing that the hot tub did its job after a day out in Fredericksburg is exactly what we hope for, and I am glad the beds and the location held up too. The deposit choice and the ID step landing on you after booking is a fair gripe. Those requirements are ours, not the platform's, and keeping them in the fine print was the wrong call. We are rewriting the listing description and the pre-booking message so the deposit options and the ID request are spelled out plainly before anyone reserves. Come back in peach season if you can, the orchards are a short drive from the house. Our returning guests always get 10% off, so that is yours the next time you book with us. My wife, the kids and I take an annual trip to Fredericksburg almost every year. This unit was conveniently located to the downtown center square (with kids playground and ice rink during Christmas), with easy walks to all the dining establishments and shops. It’s also easy access to the roads leading to Enchanted Rock (30 min) and Lost Maples (further at 1.5 hrs away) State Natural Areas. Gregory, an annual Fredericksburg trip with the whole family is exactly the kind of tradition we love being part of, and knowing the house put you within easy walking distance of the square during the Christmas season makes that mean even more. Enchanted Rock and Lost Maples in the same itinerary is a serious Hill Country run, and we are glad the location made it all easy to pull off. We have tightened our check-in window so the house is fully ready and dry underfoot before anyone walks through the door. We have tightened the parking policy enforcement at the house and are adding clearer signage so the two-spot rule actually holds. Kind and responsive host. The place itself was beautifully designed and very spacious. Beds were COMFY. My girls and I were definitely fans. We did have some issues with the wifi connection but was resolved once mentioned to the host. Our place was also supplied with many towels to choose from. Being given more than 1 tide pod would have been helpful, though, knowing to do a load of towels before checkout. Hot tub was also not fully cleaned in one area. We took my 88 year old grandma on a trip to Fredericksburg and chose this house due to it’s walker/wheelchair accessibility. It worked perfectly for our purposes and we were pleasantly surprised by the seat in the walk in shower. It was also easy to park and pull up close to the unit to get my grandma in and out of the car. The location is great- the younger people on the trip were able to walk to Main Street easily and we also drove to Enchanted rock which was about 20 minutes away. Interior is beautiful and clean- looks just like the pictures. The hot tub was a big plus!! The management team was perfect, they reached out a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. We did not realize the AC could not go lower than 73 as a rule, so if you prefer cooler keep that in mind. Overall a great stay and we will definitely stay here again!Leslie R. - Posted: 4/21/2024

My sister and I stayed here for a girls weekend getaway. It was the perfect setup, cutely decorated, and super clean. It was an easy walk to main st and simple/designated parking. The rooms are a great size, too. I would 100% stay here again! My only “complaints”, if you can even call them that, are: I wish there had been kitchen hand/tea towels (we used way too many paper towels), the cookware was also a little light (we planned to cook breakfast but couldn’t find a casserole dish), and there was a used bar of soap left in my sisters bathroom. That said, that’s being pretty picky. This place was spotless otherwise with comfy beds and nicer linens than some others I’ve stayed in. Great location, we walked everywhere. Perfect for our needs, very clean. Had all pots/pans/dishes we needed. Comfy beds, lots of towels, toiletries etc.jenny s. - Posted: 10/16/2023

The house was very beautiful and clean. It was close to restaurants and shops making it easy to pop back in for a rest. The best part for me was the accessibility features. I use a walker and this house was perfect for me. From the designated parking, wide doorways, open living.kitchen area to grab bars and seat in the shower it had it all.
