We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and perfect for our needs. The hot tub and pool are fantastic. The property is quiet and secluded. There were a few issues that proved to be a nuisances and could use improvement:1. There is no hot water running to any of the showers in the main house. (Guest house was fine and strangely so were sink faucets in the main house)2. The gas stovetop burners did not work. The gas was disconnected and the valve key was missing. We planned on cooking several nights so this was a serious curveball for us. Thankfully there were a few standalone electric cooktops we could plug in. Which means they know the range doesn’t work so it should probably be listed so people aren’t misled. The plugins work in a pinch but are a poor substitute. 3. The air conditioner in the guest house / gaming room has trouble keeping up in the heat of the day. It couldn’t stay below 80.

We had our bachelorette gathering at this amazing place, and it truly had everything we needed to accommodate our entire group. The house is incredibly spacious with an open floor plan and beautiful views of the Hill Country and surrounding nature — and the pictures were exactly what the Airbnb was in person. The open kitchen was the center of our gatherings and a great space for everyone to come together. A few of the stove burners were not working, but this did not impact our stay since we did not end up cooking. Our favorite feature was the barrel hot tub — it was perfect for the chilly weather and made our evenings so relaxing. We also loved the outdoor fireplace, which kept us warm and created such a cozy atmosphere. The seven bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and provided everyone with plenty of privacy. The beds were very comfortable, and we all felt right at home. Highly recommend this place for a group getaway!

Tammy, a bachelorette weekend centered around that barrel hot tub and an outdoor fireplace sounds like exactly the right way to celebrate. Glad the house delivered what the photos promised, because that open floor plan really does come into its own when a big group spreads out and settles in. On the stove burners, those are already fixed so the next group cooking a full Hill Country spread has everything working. If you ever want to bring the crew back for a reunion, the house is just as good in spring when the wildflowers come in around the property!

Beautiful house and location. Great views of hill country from second floor. Definitely off the beaten path - so expect a 30 min drive into downtown Fredericksburg. We had a group of 16 and plenty of room!

We had a great time. It’s not very close to town but we only left to get groceries so it was perfect for us. It was a football weekend and there is only one TV upstairs so we didn’t get to watch football but other than that, it was perfect! We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was peaceful and secluded, with beautiful outdoor space and views, and the pool was just perfect! The house was very clean, and the host very responsive. Just a small note for future guests- there is only one bathroom upstairs for 4 bedrooms to share, we didn't pay attention to this detail and it was a bit of an inconvenience, but totally our mistake! . There are however two full bathrooms downstairs so everything worked out ok. We definitely recommend this place!
