Very glad we decided on this! Gorgeous cabin for a couple’s retreat. Homey vibe and nice area. Walled exterior while near a creek and right next to the main city made this stay have all the benefits of a romantic cabin retreat while also being right next to the city as we never had to use our car! Will likely book again!

This was a cozy place & I’d go back again. It was clean with a good view besides the trash can from the flood at the edge of the place. I’d rate this place a 9.5 out of 10. The outside lights didn’t work. Everything else was good though. Clean floors, cold AC, comfy bed, a short walk to town. Daniel

Daniel, a short walk to town and a cold AC unit waiting on you is exactly what that house is built for, so I'm glad it delivered. You're right about the two things that pulled it off a 10. The outside lights are being rewired this week, and the trash can left over from the flood cleanup at the edge of the property has been hauled off for good. Come back once the exterior lighting is running and take the porch after dark, that view holds up at sunset better than it does at noon. Great location! Close to the main street, but has the feeling of privacy. What I expected after seeing the photos is what we got and communication was phenomenal too. We left wishing to stay at least another night to enjoy the property more.

Everything was great, was in great location, very well kept, nice porch for morning coffee. They need updated coffee maker, very slow takes 20/30 minutes to make. Put in a Kuereg and spring for some pods not much to ask for. Not sure what’s up with toilet but you have to stand there and hold it down for awhile before it will flush. But overall it was a great place to stay. Thanks for the stay. Don’t listen to your maps use Orange street to access the driveway, you pass the driveway you have to make it around the block again

Erin, that outdoor space is one of our favorite things about the cabin too, and it sounds like it hit exactly right for your trip. Coffee is already sorted, filters are stocked alongside the grounds so both pots are ready to go from the moment you walk in. The toilet is being replaced before the next booking. Come back when the Hill Country weather turns, the outdoor space is something else when you can really settle into it.

We absolutely loved the location. Walkable to Main Street and all of the restaurants, shops, tasting rooms and more. The cabin is beautiful and perfect for the two of us to relax, have a fire and a glass of wine. We very much enjoyed our stay at this low key cabin environment.

Glad it landed that way for the two of you. You were right to flag the bathroom plumbing, and a plumber has the toilet valve replaced and the line checked, so that musty smell is gone. The toilet situation was not how we want any stay to go, and we've since completed a full plumbing inspection on the property so the next guest doesn't hit the same snag. Christopher, walking to Main Street for dinner and still having a quiet cabin to come back to is exactly what makes that location special. Glad the stay was easy from check-in to checkout, that matters as much as the property itself. On the toilet issue you mentioned privately, the plumbing has been serviced and that is sorted for the next guest. Hill Country has so much to explore beyond the weekend, and the house is a great base for it. Come back and stay a little longer next time!

Reno, being a couple of minutes' walk from Oktoberfest is exactly why folks book this house in the fall, and I'm glad it worked out that way for you. You should not have had to hold the handle down every flush. The toilet has been rebuilt with a new flush valve and a taller bowl, and a rubber-backed runner is now under the front door mat so nobody else comes close to doing the splits. Come see us again when the market days are on, the walk to the square is just as easy in spring. There is 10% off your next stay whenever you come back, the same as for all our returning guests.
