A superb 13 day holiday in this amazing house. My wife was in tears on leaving this property on our final day. It has everything we could ask for and more. Great communications by the host also. An overall fantastic location. We will back back for sure.Anonymous - Posted: 9/2/2026
Paul, your wife in tears on the last morning might be the finest compliment this house has ever gotten. Thirteen days is a proper stay, long enough to settle in and stop watching the clock, and I am glad the place held up for every one of them. Good to hear the messaging side worked too. When you come back, try to land in late March or April. The bluebonnets come up along the roads out here and the whole drive in looks like something someone painted. Keep an evening free for stargazing from the porch as well. We will be watching for your name. We keep 10% off for guests who come back to us, so that is there for you next time. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Pointe Venture. The house was a great setup for our family of 5. I would suggest adding kitchen towel for doing the dishes. Also- being a bit more flexible on check in times. The surcharge seems excessive to check in early or check out a little late considering the nightly cost. Good space for a family. The deck was a nice gathering space. They provided a lot of towels and toilet paper. Plus it was nice to have the washer and dryer. Good kitchen supplies, but could have left a cleaning spray and maybe a swiper to clean the floor since we stayed over a week. They had lots of kids toys. Deck had a gate at the stair so it kept our kids secure. The master bed frame and dining table were a rickety/wobbly and need to be fixed or changed out. The home is absolutely beautiful and looks just like the pictures! Alex, those Lake Travis views pull people back every time, and it sounds like they did exactly that for you. The ant issue in the bedrooms and bathrooms has been addressed with a professional pest treatment, and the toilet in the Queen bathroom has been repaired. Neither of those belongs in a stay that good. Glad the property felt safe and quiet throughout, and that you had what you needed from us when it counted. Nice, new house in Point Venture. Great kitchen with all the amenities to cook when ready. Downstairs rooms are perfect for the kids and master bedroom has a spacious bathroom. Living room is comfortable with big flat screen TV for streaming and vaulted ceilings with huge fan. Sliding door to from patio with table, chairs and grill. Great to have the extra hallway, half bath on the main floor. Overall great experience and perfect home that feels new. Bring some deer corn and enjoy feeding them when they show up around the house! We had a truly wonderful week at this property. So many positives: really soft beds, soft and thick bath towels, plenty of sheets and pillows for our long stay, good coffee and tea, TVs in every room when we all wanted down time, new grill had full propane and was easy to fire up for our steak dinner, garage was perfect for our golf cart rental storage overnight, and large beach towels and pool toys for our trips to the pool and private beach. Other than an issue with a broken couch, this property was perfect for our family of 6. Would absolutely stay here again. Bonuses we discovered: the marina within walking distance has boat rentals and a restaurant—not having to drive 30-45 min to rent a boat was wonderful, there is a private beach nearby that has a playground, beach volleyball and soft sand—we took the golf cart we rented and our truck for the day and had a blast, the keycards provided for the pool also work for the private beach gate.Anonymous - Posted: 5/26/2025
