Weitz Getaway

We were celebrating a retirement with a group of 5 couples. The house was perfect for gathering and for three couple. The two separate houses( guest house and pool house were perfect for the other two couples.) Absolutely a perfect weekend in a beautiful home!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this lovely property in a beautiful spot. We ( 5 adults) rented both 113 and 114 Weitz. the 113 property includes the main house (3 BRs, fully equipped kitchen/dining area/laundry area /2 full baths,large comfortable living room) as well as a nicely equipped smaller 'pool house' ( 1 BR/full bath/kitchen/ living room.) 114 Weiz is an adjacent guest house in the same compound with king bedroom/full shower/fully equipped kitchen/ laundry/ large comfortable living room. We took advantage of all the fun things available on the property: hot tubs, pool, pickle ball /basketball court, corn hole/horse shoes! All the equipment was provided; everything was in great working condition. The homes themselves were very clean, with up-to -date appliances , comfortable beds, spotless linens and loads of towels both for bath and pool. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend and would return if we are ever in the area.

This place was on of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at! I loved that there was so much to do on the premises. The host was very responsive and helped us out with any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great. It did say Master bedroom ensuite...its not in the master bedroom..its in the hall.But all was good. It was family and we all had private spaces to sleep with the casitas outside. We loved the outdoor space, pickleball, basketball, and cornhull. The pool was awesome...chilly but tons of fun. We were happy to be out of town and away from the crowds. Its a short drive. Wonderful time away. Thank you!

This was the perfect setup for our family get together! Three houses enabled each family to have their own space, while meeting at the main house for meals. The pool was outstanding - covered and lit up at night. We used the pickleball court everyday, and the kids enjoyed corn hole and basketball. So much to do here, and so easy to relax. Everything was in working order and well appointed.

Great place to stay, close enough to town, while being far enough away. Main living space was warm, but manageable. Pickleball court was a big plus.

We had a great time at this property. Close enough to all of the local action, but still offers a good bit of privacy as well. Had a couple of maintenance issues but communication with property manager was easy and problems were addressed quickly. Would stay here again.

We loved staying at this property with our family. It allowed us to all stay at one place but also have privacy in our own houses, which was especially helpful when it was time for the kids to take naps. We visited in August and spent a great deal of time outside with the covered pool, hot tub, and ample seating. The kitchen was well stocked for meals at home with plenty of seating. The bathrooms were also well stocked - I don’t think we’ve ever had so many towels at a rental before! The pool towels were a really nice touch as well. We loved that the property was a short 10 minute drive to Main Street, but was far enough out to be a peaceful, hill country retreat. We saw wildlife, stars, and wildflowers. Highly recommend!

This set of homes was great for a multi family gathering of people 5 to 84. The covered pool was great for relaxing without worrying about sunburn or light rain. There was plenty of room to gather together and to spread out for quiet times without feeling bunched up all the time. The whole property was meticulously cleaned and well equipped with multiple kitchen spaces. The only item missing is an ice machine-you need to bring ice.

Overall we had an excellent time at this property. The houses are nice (main house, pool house and guest house), were all very comfortable and clean. I did not see the review about the rats (!!) until after booking, or else I’m sure we would have hesitated. But we didn’t see any sign of bugs or other vermin in any of the homes, so rest assured that has been resolved. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The real highlight though, was the outdoor amenities. There was so much to do that everyone in our big group (of 12 - from grandparents to infants) had plenty of space to spread out and have fun doing different things. The only thing the owners should address is the property description. The main house description indicates that there is an en suite bathroom for one of the bedrooms, but that is not the case, it is just a standalone bathroom. It also described the second bathroom in the main house as “shared by” the other two bedrooms. To me this meant it was a jack and Jill bathroom - but that was not the case either. Not only are neither of these bathrooms private, the second full bathroom has a pocket door that *does not lock*! I don’t know who would want to shower in a house full of people without a door that locks, but this was an issue for us. I had to end up showering in my in laws bathroom, which was not ideal. The bathroom situation was frustrating but did not spoil our time. Especially given how awesome the property was overall.
