Great place for a weekend with family and friends. Allowing pets is a big plus for us and the location is great for dogs. The host were quick to respond to any questions and were proactive in giving information before you need it. Overall an excellent experience, great house and caring host.

We stayed for two nights and had everything we needed. We had a group of six and everyone was comfortable. The washer and dryer worked great and they do leave a few pods for guests too. The fenced, shaded yard was one of the greatest points esp if you have children and pets! We were close to everything fun we had a great time!

Beautiful home. Lovely kitchen with all the tools you need. Lots of games for inside and out. Roomy. We had a member of our family in a wheelchair, the home is roomy enough on the inside to work with that. We brought 6' ramps and able to get inside with those. Comfortable front and back porches with rocking chairs. Back patio with umbrella table. Everything an airbnb home should be. Happy we stayed here and would for sure stay there again. Thank you for being a super host. I must mention the table top air hockey and the table top foosball was a hit with my kids, which are not kids, in their 40's and my granddaughter 16. We all enjoyed this stay, even more than the reunion we were, in town to attend!

House was very well stocked and we were surprised! Very nice, clean house and very comfortable beds! It has a really nice fenced in yard for my dog and I didn't have to worry at all. This house is awesome! The owner had such thoughtful amenities! Including the Kleenex and TP were quality products not cheapo depot sandpaper!! The kitchen is fully stocked and the ambiance of this house is "Home" . Our stay was great! I would highly recommend the Whitney House! It's above and beyond!

I had an amazing stay at Whitney Cottage! The place was spotless—everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it feel just like home. I fell in love with the house and yard. It was perfect for my family escaping from Hurricane Ida devastation. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and we loved the beauty and comfort of the home. We left our southeast Louisiana home because we had no electricity and needed a much cooler vacation oasis. We found it. This is the a perfect place from the main street of Fredicksburg. You are not too far from all the shops and vineyards. I would highly recommend you to stay there. If and when we plan another trip to Fredicksburg, we will definitely rent this home again.

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at Whitney’s cottage. The house was perfect, everything was nice and new and the owner has really gone above and beyond to make you feel at home. It was perfect for our family weekend getaway! Stephanie has thought of ever detail to make this house feel like home. We loved having the gate entry to the driveway. The back porch was so relaxing with those comfortable rocking chairs. The home has every amenity you could think of and more! The bathrooms were stocked with all the extras in case you forgot to pack something. My kids especially liked the complimentary snacks. The beds were so comfortable. Stephanie was prompt responding, even though we never needed anything! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Definitely will be staying her again!

We loved this little house in Fredericksburg. We all felt that it was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The yard was perfect for our dog and kids. Our girls told us they wanted to sell everything and move there permanently. Stephanie was a great host and had little treats and snacks for us in the house. She was very responsive with any questions we had. It is in walking distance to the main street of shops but it was about a mile and there are no sidewalks so we only walked there once. If we get the chance we will definitely stay there again.

This house was hands down the cleanest and best stocked rental I have ever been to. They absolutely go above and beyond to make it comfortable for everyone. Very close to main street and all the action while still feeling secluded enough to relax. Loved seeing all the deer in the neighborhood as well. Everyone in our group (ages 3 months - 60+ years) enjoyed the property!

The home was warm and inviting. Our dog loved the large fenced yard. I really liked the security gated driveway. The location was great in a quiet neighborhood close to all main roads but far enough away to not have any of the traffic. We will definitely stay here again when in Fredricksburg. We have been to Fredericksburg many times and usually stay in Hotel but we wanted to do something different, since we were also taking the dogs. The Whitney Cottage was PERFECT and we could not have asked for a better place. There were 5 of us, plus our 7 month old granddaughter and the 2 dogs. The home had plenty of room, was very welcoming, extremely clean and relaxing for all of us. The snacks provided were perfect and had all the amenities we needed. Stephanie was easy to work and responded quickly, to any questions. The yard was very large and the dogs were able to run around and play, when we were there. We will be staying again at the Whitney Cottage and recommend it. - Nancy

The are guide she sent was so helpful in choosing where we would go each day, and the snacks and drinks in the fridge was such a homey touch! We loved the stay here! It is the best stocked rental property we've ever stayed in - from fresh flowers, to snacks/drinks, to toiletries. It was amazing. Great backyard with charcoal grill, fire pit, and plenty of seating. Comfy living room and great selection of games. One note for groups that will use all three bedrooms: the room with the twin beds doesn't have a door, just curtains as a way of closing off the space and it's right off the living room. Wasn't an issue for us, but it does mean less privacy/no sound barrier for anyone staying in that room.

The Whitney Cottage is a great location in a quiet neighborhood and walkable to Main Street. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. This house is beautiful, very clean and had everything you need and then some. It is close to downtown Fredericksburg so easily walkable. Had great outdoor seating and a lovely little fire pit. This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. The property owned has thought of everything. She was amazing to work with and sent us all sort of recommendations prior to our trip. This house exceeded my expectations. Stephanie, was a great host, quick communication and she made it very easy to check in with keyless entry. This house had everything you could want and more! Stephanie had the house very stocked with sodas, water, and snacks, for everyone which was greatly appreciated! She had plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, and the kitchen was fully stocked, with everything you could need to cook. She made the checkout process very easy also. There were five women in the house, and the accommodations were perfect. We were all very comfortable. We were also able to walk to Main Street, which was nice and had access to restaurants and shops. I would recommend this house to anybody. The fenced in yard was wonderful and we all felt very safe during our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, recently renovated 3 Bedroom home. It was the perfect size for two adult couples and a baby. It was clean, comfortable and well supplied. The third bedroom with twin beds has a curtain for privacy instead of a door. Communication with the owner was easy and responses were quick.

This property was everything we could have asked for during our stay in Fredericksburg. It was spacious, thoughtful, and well kept. When we arrived, Stephanie left treats for us and the pups as well as a stocked fridge and snacks for us to enjoy. The kitchen was labeled so it was so easy to find anything you might be looking for. The bathrooms were stocked in case you might have forgotten anything, and there was so many games and reading materials to learn about the area. The yard was absolutely perfect and my pups couldn't get enough of running laps around the house and watching birds. Especially if you have never been to Texas or Fredericksburg, Stephanie NAILED the southern Texas hospitality & thoughtfulness. We will definitely be returning! Thank you, Stephanie!!

I have NO complaints at all! Communication with manager was quick easy and super FRIENDLY. We had a wonderful welcome into the home. The place was EXTREMELY clean. When they say kitchen stocked they mean kitchen is stocked. Anything we could have needed was right there. The fenced in yard was perfect for having the kids play outside. Beds/pillows were comfy. Showers were clean and easy to use and towels were plentiful. Fun Outdoor games and we did a puzzle they provided. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to make sure anyone who stays can have access to what they would need. Hands down the BEST place I’ve stayed in Fbg. Would not change a thing!!

This is a beautifully-kept home in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from Main Street. We traveled with our dog for the first time, so we were nervous but the owner made us feel right at home. The check-in process was quick and easy. There were dishes for our dog, leashes and a brochure recommending dog-friendly places in the area. There were gourmet doggie treats and gourmet human treats too. We had mentioned that it was our anniversary, and the owner even surprised us with a lovely bouquet. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen was organized and had everything we needed. I loved the coffee options and that the coffee was ready to brew. One of the reasons we chose this home was because of the gated yard for the dog and our vehicle. We felt very safe here. We would 100% stay here again as we loved everything about this house and our stay.

This home was the most inviting ever. Fresh flowers, real glassware - not cheap plastic, all the sundries and snacks conceivable. Every square inch was made available to serve children, dogs, indoor games, yard games, first aid, etc. There should be a different category for this level of accommodation because every other VRBO we have ever experienced falls shamefully short of this one.

Stephanie is a wonderful host. She left treats for not only us, but for our pets too. The refrigerator was well stocked with condiments and drinks, snacks were available and the kitchen and baths were stocked with supplies. My sister and I brought our (3) daughters and one granddaughter for a Girls Only Family Getaway. The home is in a great location. We all enjoyed sitting outside in the patio area in the evenings after returning from shopping. Having a fenced in yard was wonderful for the dogs. The home itself is very comfortable and inviting. We definitely look forward to another stay in the future.

We stayed in this lovely cottage last year for my husband's birthday, and he wanted to return for his birthday this year. The property is adorable, well cared for, comfortable, clean, the yard is lovely and fully fenced and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Outstanding! Perfect! Wonderful! The house was exactly what we needed and Stephanie was very flexible and understanding. We had so much fun during our stay! We loved grilling in the beautiful backyard and sitting around the fire pit. Our dogs enjoyed the big yard. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed every aspect of the house: proximity to town, gated yard, easy access, front porch, back patio area with fire pit, snacks and cold drinks in fridge. The kitchen was very nice too. Only two comments. We did have a glitch with one side of the coffee pot, but the single serve worked nicely. And the adults who stayed in the front room with the two single beds said they were very hard and uncomfortable. Thank you for the use of your home. We made some wonderful memories. I'm laughing to myself as I am typing.

This property WOOOWed me! First, I have a little one age 2 and the fact that this property is completely fenced in is the best feature to me! I rented this because to be honest my two year old is loud and loves to run and jump so it was so nice to be able to let her run and play without worrying about neighbors. The house was amazing and comfortable! The property owner had snacks for us and even surprised us with muffins and fresh flowers on arrival. It was beyond perfect!!! Great porches to sit and enjoy a glass of ice tea!! Love it and will be booking again!

The Whitney cottage was perfect. We enjoyed being able to bring our 4 legged family members. We think they had just as much fun and enjoyed playing in the yard. It was a nice surprise that there were drinks and snacks available, when we arrived every one was extremely thirsty . Check in was easy and simple. Would definitely recommend and would definitely rent again.
